Ojemudia is listed on Scout at 6'2 - 220, is that not an accurate listing? Seems like he'd have to put on at least 50-60 lbs to play DT and even then he'd be considered a smallish one.
You're reaching here. LaPorta is not tearing it up offensively but he is holding his own with an OPS hovering around .800. He's also playing a solid 1B while Duncan would be a hack at 1B. Duncan is in the right role currently as a PH and an occasional play against LHP. Looks like he might...
I saw something about it on the National Football Post. The cost was something like a 2 this year and next year's #1. I think a more likely scenario would be MIN moving up to Cleveland's spot to get Gabbert.
I read another report regarding NE possibly trading up for Cleveland's pick if Von...
If Gabbert goes in the top 5, I think it may be more likely Miller would slip to 6 than Peterson or Green. From what I've heard Miller fits better in a 3-4 than a 4-3 and LB is likely a less attractive trade up target than a QB.
Not feeling good about this 1st round as it seems like the guys I like will be gone just before the Browns pick (for the 3rd yr in a row). I think the 1st 5 will be Newton, Peterson, Dareus, Green and Miller in some order. If that happens my best case scenario would be that someone wants to...
This doesn't make sense to me. If there's no one available at 6 that you really like, why not try to move down a little, get someone you like about as much as the remaining options at 6 and get an extra pick or two in the process. Personally, the only guys I'm sold on at 6 are Dareus, Peterson...
Or call up Chad Huffman:tongue2: Kidding of course but did everyone see the Clippers boxscore from yesterday? 19-3 over Louisville, Huffman led the way as he went 4-5 with 3 HR and 10 RBI.
It would take a few years for a HS kid to reach the majors and who knows what the team will look like by then. Yes, they have Phelps/Kipnis but SS is still a need in the system. They took Wolters last year too but a lot of people don't think he'll be able to stick at SS.
I could see that also. I left OCab in the #6 spot to break up the lefties (Haf/Sizemore).
I'm interested to see how the expected Gomez callup impacts the minor league rotations. My hope is that Scott Barnes moves up to Columbus. I don't think they'll bump Pomeranz up to Akron yet but it is...
Huff is listed as the starter for Columbus today so it looks like it's gonna be Gomez. It's early but Gomez has pitched much better than Huff so far this year.
Brantley is getting the day off today so I can understand Sizemore leading off. However, when both are in the lineup, I'd rather see...
They also signed Nick Johnson in the offseason. He has to get and stay healthy (long odds based on his history) but he has been pretty good when he's played.
I could never root for Spurrier in anything with the way he seemingly trashes OSU every chance he gets. Alabama is already so good and has so much talent. I guess I'll be hoping for Clemson by default.
Does this guy have any offers? Seems like a MAC school or lower level Big Ten squad would have room for him. Or maybe he's just determined to play for a big-time program.
Interesting group of schools McReynolds' is choosing from. 4 different conferences, 4 different parts of the country and none really known for their football.
I think it's inevitable that some good Ohio DE's in the upcoming class leave the state as there seem to be so many. Just have to hope the staff can land the best of the best.
