I told my buddy who is a Bengals fan, if they would have put Krenzel in when Palmer went down, he would lead the Bengals to the Superbowl. The man's a gamer. And since they lost and he didn't get put in I can't be proven wrong so HA!
Exactly. I love how Tressel can turn average "rated" players into the best player in the nation at their respective position-see A.J.Hawk. Getting a number 1 recruit is all well and good but if that's all you get it's not gonna help much. Tressel goes by the, get numbers 4,6,8,9 and 10 recruits...
Good stuff grad. Check this out:http://www.bcsfootball.org/index2.cfm?page=alltime
Some notables:
1) Haha look at scUM on the all time list.
2) Haha look at scUm on the winning percentage list.
3) As expected the Big 10 leads all conferences in games won.
4) That Mountain West lead in winning...
You may be right. It is a little funny the way it works out. It seems the Louisville QB didn't even play in the bowl game but played 10 games during the year. The Arizona St. QB only played nine games during the year but did throw 4 touchdowns in the bowl game. So I'm not sure how the combo of...
Slightly off topic but I heard Mack Brown defending Young's passing critics during the NC and he said Young had the best passing efficiancy in the nation and that should be hard to argue with (in regards to people questioning his throwing ability). While agree he is efficient, he should be...
Couldn't agree more Dryden. I was hoping they would have a stat on time of possession because that's another area where Tressel wins ball games. Also field position. Where we started compared to where other teams started. Those two stats would really put things into perspective. God I love Tressel.

This page has some pretty good stuff on it I'm sure you all will find interesting. I think there are a few things that stick out to me regarding these statistics and next year. Obviously I think we are all in agreement that Beanie...
Agreed. Mili said it perfectly...It is tough to overcome experience with talent and seeing as how Datish is no slouch talent wise it will be that much tougher for Cordle. He'll have his day.
It's gotta be hard trying to live up to the path Michael put down. Everyone telling you how good you have to become. But this is getting ridiculous. What goes through these kid's heads when they make these kind of decisions. Not only for the common civilian but for practically a celebrity does...
Bottom line in my opinion, you gotta let the kids play with five seconds left on the clock. Under very seldom circumstances should the result of a game be decided on the foul line. Someone should have to get HAMMERED. Refs shouldn't play a part in the game. Period. However as usual you can't...
Shawn Lane was converted to tailback before the season started. But since we have Beanie coming in next year along with returners Wells, Haw and Pittman, I see Lane going back to corner to help out the depth there. And as for D-end although he's young Gholston freaks me out...I've got my fingers...
