Some of Bo's teams wore white pants. It's not gimmicky. Nor is it, to the best of my knowledge, true: I haven't seen anything saying it's anything other than message board speculation gone amok.
It pretty much is. It couldn't have been more obvious against CMU that Cousins is the better...
Honestly, I think MSU gets blown out. If their defense is better than Michigan's, it's not by a lot, and they don't have the offense to keep up with Notre Dame's.
McDonough and Millen said after the game that the refs got together and determined Theo Riddick touched the ball before it bounced out the back of the end zone, so the clock should have started when that happened. That's the explanation, anyway.
Define "very, very gloomy." A lot of the teams...
Well...........maybe. Those are probably the best wide receivers we'll face all year. Armando Allen is a tough SOB to bring down. Clausen though....I wasn't impressed. Any time we got pressure on him, which wasn't too often, he folded like a lawn chair.
And I'm sure someone somewhere will...
Love the spin. Western was the second-best team in the MAC last year, and went bowling. About half the predictions around here before that game were WMU to win, including this gem:
And even if we only have one functional quarterback and Denard doesn't count, it's still more than last year...
That's hilarious.
Last year we lost 35-17. We fumbled a kickoff away, and dropped another one as well as a punt. The offense also fumbled twice - once on the Irish 5, and one that was returned for a touchdown. Nick Sheridan threw two interceptions to run the turnover count to five, not...
They sorta sat down and distributed them more or less evenly based on how good the teams were at the time, with an eye on rivalries and half an eye on evening out travel costs, and ensuring the possibility of a Miami-FSU ACCCG. The obvious problem with that is that teams get better and worse...
Because you didn't also give me a quarterback that can complete a friggin' pass?
What was that stat they showed.....1 for 11 at one point? Yeowch. The guy was 3 for 14 with two picks and one overturned pick. Clemson had the same chance of catching his passes as his own receivers. That was...
I'll tell you what, the natives have been getting restless in Virginia since at least 2007 and probably before. It's kind of counterintuitive but I don't think last week's game actually changed much.
UNC is legit. Georgia Tech would be on the list if they were media darlings, but I think they will be by the end of the year. Got high hopes for GT. Oklahoma State - also legit.
Not legit: MSU and Iowa. I had a few small misgivings about Iowa before the season, which turned into huge...
