I was able to get a close look at a similar situation between the city school and a suburban school. I played for John Marshall (Cleveland Senate/City) as a frosh and soph. It is what you would expect from an underfunded distric; piss poor facilities, skeleton staff, athletes who had never...
I know people say we should like to see Big Ten 10 schools bring in good recruits, but I am happy Tate chose Maryland over Illinois...not only do we not have to worry about covering Tate, but Illinois is becoming a real thorn in our side, both on the field and in recruiting. I liked them a whole...
Since Brewster will become a student @ OSU and essentially a part of the program / team, is he still allowed to call up recruits or does the prior relationship clause come into effect?
Something i have always wondered about especially with so many kids enrolling early these days...
Completely agree in that he would have far more "buddies" here at OSU, however guys like Terry, JamO, Small, Rose and Browning were 2-4 years ahead of Cordale when they were @ Glenville. While i am sure they are buddies, friends, etc, i think it would be foolish to underestimate the relationship...
This may be completely off base, but Cordale's recruitment has always had the Alex Daniels feel to me in the regards that there are 3 kids from the same school(Massey, Jones, & Daniels vs. Rowell, Whitner, & Cordale), but OSU really only wants one of them (Daniels and Cordale). The 2 friends are...
While also creating a nice little pipeline @ St. X....at least in the sense that any future kids from X will be able to associate better with Louisville in that kids they looked up are there in force
Hopefully my Blue Devils can put the wraps on Tanski, but i really dont see it happening. Tanski and crew put up a lot of points on a Glenville defense with a number of D-I athletes...
Could the BPRT give some of their opinions on Darius? Was size a major concern with his running style, speed? Did Devoe's commitment end any chance at an OSU offer? Was there ever a chance of an offer, etc.?
who had more of an impact i wonder, the crowd or LJ Sr. spewing venom into his ear...
Back to JeRon, with the WR haul the Bucks are bringing in this year, how many do others think we take next year especially with instate guys like Fields
This is a terrific story regardless of Greg possibly receiving an offer from tOSU, which i am beginning to hope he does...
One item that has sturck me as odd/impressive is that up to this season Greg has been in the marching band and played basketball and not on the football team ( i.e. weight...
In recruiting, the one thing you always hope for when recruiting a big time QB like Terrelle is for them to commit early and act as a cornerstone for your class that will attract other big time players (skill positions) to them.
This class is very odd in that our cornerstones are the big hog...
While i think some of these #'s are utterly disgusting, especially the SEC and Oregon State (Reputations are earned, not freely given, and they definitely earn theirs)...i think of it in the light that let them continue to basically waste their time and resources on recrutiing these kids that...
