Where is baby Sullinger at? :tongue2:
Seriously though, being outmanned down low was a big enough challenge. We didn't need the poor shooting night to with ET struggling.
Well, at least we know they will keep jacking them up..so maybe the law of averages will work to Ohio State's way this half. Going to have to hit something to open up some lanes. Evan & David are trying, but you can only do so much without a low block offensive threat..or big time depth like UNC.
Just nightmarish on the offensive end, and to think a small spurt would put them at striking distance. It will be a win if they can get this to 10 or under by the half.
I believe Muck City's finest, Santonio Holmes is in this company. Caught two TD passes @ scUM in 2003. Smoked Marlin Jackson for a score to finalize the rout in 2004. Then he caught a late score back up there in 2005, the one where he got penalized. (It's easy to forget the 2003 game :wink2:)
Oh boy, it's the big blue in the Mecca tonight. (a sweet lil' November appetizer)
As usual, you and Cbfan40 are spot on. I don't see many flaws in Deon Thompson's game at this level. I'm confident in Dallas playing him straight up, but as you noted, our lack of frontcourt depth compared to...
Sweet sweet redemption after the 1999 game. I sadly still remember, J-Wells performed an awesome spin move and was off to the races. But he took a wrong angle, and was ran down by the scUM secondary. tOSU failed to score a TD on that drive, maybe even failed to score at all..went on to lose in...
Welcome back
It is good to see Daequan back out there in the swing of things. He has had a little history with the shoulder, so I hope that injury doesn't flare up throughout the year. But imo Cook is a bonafide NBA threat now (still want to see the consistency, but his comfort level on an NBA...
In addition to the turnovers, the big fella missed two free throws late in regulation. This was the 2nd game where Oden failed to make clutch foul shots. He is a good free throw shooter, so I would expect him to calm down in that regard.
Some of the turnovers that are occurring are...
It was extremely close between Teddy's punt return and Will Allen's game sealing interception, but I picked Ginn Jr's return. Will Allen's play was monumental, but Teddy's return symbolizes the difference between the two programs this decade imo. In addition to the better coaching, tOSU has...
Meh..first of all, he retracted the Rubio comments. Those statements were made in the heat of the draft when he was getting barraged with questions about his falling stock & Rubio. I remember the press conference actually, he just got back to the states and got the best of some of the other top...

I've been a fan of this kid since 2005 when I started scouting Oden & Conley's AAU games. He first made noise at the age of 16 with the SO-Cal All-Stars playing with Kevin Love, Chase Budinger, and Taylor King. He then transferred from Compton to Oak Hill. He was the consensus number one...
