  1. Jordan Hicks (Philadelphia Eagles)

He could have saved himself some time, and just stated "I have no idea which of three teams he's going to pick".
  2. 2010 tOSU Running Backs discussion

Saine has surpassed Herron IMO. Can't imagine Herron being the lead back going forward. Saine was better in every big game rushing and catching the football. Herron is a solid RB, but he's not dynamic like Berry or even Hall. He doesn't have the one cut acceleration or natural running skills of...
  3. RB Jaamal Berry (Transfer to Murray State)

If he's healthy he has a good shot to play a lot. They held his RS off a long time because they wanted to get him in the mix. That tells me he's very talented and showed the staff a lot before he got hurt. No offense to Herron, but Berry has a helluva lot more natural ability at the RB...
  4. LB Brian Rolle (Official Thread)

He's gonna have a real hard time staying on an NFL roster given his size. I saw my Cardinals draft Buster Davis, the former FSU MLB, who was a total stud in college. They cut him during his first training camp. And he was a third round pick. Hopefully, he has an incredible year and somebody...
  5. RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

They didn't really mismanage the clock at all. It was 31-10 with 10 minutes to go in the third quarter. They didn't get the ball back until it was 31-24, midway through the third. At that point, you can't really run the clock out. I guess you can argue that with 7 minutes to go in the game...
  6. RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

Yeah, scoring every possession is certainly something they shouldn't be doing.....
  7. LaTwan Anderson (official thread)

If he wanted to pick OSU on Saturday, would our staff accept the verbal?
  8. WR/RB Lamaar "Flash" Thomas (transfer to New Mexico)

Looking back maybe he should have been brought in to play CB.. Also, makes you wonder what will happen to Corey Brown from this yrs class. The guy he's drawn a ton of comparisons to is Flash Thomas. Maybe he should play CB.
  9. WR/RB Lamaar "Flash" Thomas (transfer to New Mexico)

I agree RB.. He just didn't fit in with what we do on offense. Nobody is to blame. Just saying that in our offense he had to develop into a pure wide receiver to make any impact. Flash was always more of a hybrid RB/WR who was going to work better in an offense like Florida or Oregon's.
  10. RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

There is more to playing RB in the NFL, then simply taking handoffs out of I-Formation, and running it, particularly in an offensive system like Whisenhunt's which is built off of Warner's masterful passing ability. He's gotten more and more time as the season has progressed and I have no...
  11. RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

Whisenhunt is one of the best offensive minds in the game. He knows what he's talking about.
  12. RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

He will play more when he learns the pass protects. Hightower is an elite pass protector from the RB position. Beanie got Kurt concussed by blowing an assignment a couple weeks ago. There is no conspiracy aimed at holding Beanie down in Arizona. When he does everything the backs are expected to...
  13. Jordan Hicks (Philadelphia Eagles)

Not sure why everyone is surprised. We've been running third for months.
  14. LB Coach James Laurinaitis (2x B1G DPOY, 2006 Nagurski, 2007 Butkus, 2008 Lott, 3x All-American, OSU HOF)

All those guys are pretty darn good. Cushing is probably gonna win DROY
  15. Lamarcus Joyner (DB New York Jets)

He committed. He's got an article full of quotes stating he committed. Just got outrecruited by Jimbo. Best of luck to the kid. Gotta finish with Anderson, Bryant, and Heard.
  16. RB Chris "Beanie" Wells (All B1G, All-American)

His time will come. Right now, with the personnel assembled, they need to keep doing what they are doing. They are deadly when they protect Warner, and Whisenhunt is a great playcaller. However, Kurt won't be around forever and Boldin will be gone soon. The running game will take a more...
  17. C Greg Oden (All B1G, All-American, Defensive Player of the Year, Butler Assistant Coach)

Oden looks to have just suffered a pretty devastating injury to his knee (although hard to tell from the replay).. Feel terrible for the big fella
  18. DB Malcolm Jenkins (All B1G, All-American, Thorpe Award, All-Pro, 2x Super Bowl Champion)

Held Welker to 6 grabs for 32 yards. He was matched on him most of the game. Got away with a pretty bad hold, which possibly could have resulted in a TD, but overall he's done well for a rookie going against the premiere slot receiver in the game. Got flagged for a couple 5 yard holding...
  19. USC 28, UCLA 7 (final)

You just strike me as being jealous of their success.
  20. USC 28, UCLA 7 (final)

And yet they still beat us, in our stadium.
