The 45 yarder was shanked. He obviously has some talent because the only thing lacking on the 52 yarder was either a gust of wind or just a bit more power.
And about our kicker, I think him missing those two long FGs was good for next week's Texas game. Last year, we relied too much on the foot of Huston. Now we know, while Pettrey may mature throughout the season, we can't rely on him to put up points against Texas.
I don't know if it was Garrett Wolfe, but I'm really missing the lateral speed from last years linebackers. We were strong up the middle, but any short screen pass or a run off tackle seemed to result in good yards for NIU.
The game's tempo was lost at halftime. I don't think we saw anything...
Hopefully at a local pizza place that is showing the game.
There are a few places that the Bay Area Buckeyes meet at but the closest one is a good 40 minutes away.
CSTV.com has this in their "Upcoming Guide"
"Football: NIU at Ohio State, Sat., 3:30 p.m.
Top-ranked Ohio State opens the season with a visit from Northern Illinois."

A good amount of universities use "the" in their name, it's not something Ohio State does exclusively.
I'd have much rather given the $50 to charity and skipped the lines.
But it does make you a bit pissed when you've been in a line for an hour and you find out that the line goes nowhere. I literally mean it went nowhere. It went to some recessed part of the stadium where there was a table, but...
The event was pretty unorganized. My flight from California got into Columbus at 4, so we were at the stadium around 4:30. We went to get some food and came back around 5:30. We stood in a line for an hour which everyone believed to the Ginn and Pittman line, then someone found out that neither...
I'm as big of a suburban white person as can be, but I would think that the communities in the ghetto would be fairly tight-knit and unless he really wanted to get out of the community, it would be incredibly hard to leave.
Michigan
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Southern Cal
Alphabetical order. If I had to rank them, I'd give the #1 nod to ND. After that, it's a crapshoot.
