It's funny you say that about 5 stars. There is some truth to your assertion. For the most part, star rankings are based on observed talent and measurables. If you or I decide to check further, we can probably watch some video, some TV and attend some games. That's pretty much what the paid...
There is so much wrong in this single post:
Troy Smith was NOT the last guy offered in the class of 2002. Someone shooting from the hip made this claim years ago and people have repeated it so often those who don't know better claim it as a fact. Recruiting gurus are not very good at...
Yes- I guess that's the only way and it is a possibility.
I find this defense and all of the Buckeye defenses since 2011 disappointing by Buckeye standards. Perhaps we underestimated Jim Heacock or the previous defensive staff? Maybe as you pointed out, the conservative offenses of the past...

I think I saw the Hoosiers roll into town yesterday. I was on Tuttle near I-270 and noticed a motorcycle cop with his flashers on in my rearview mirror. Several more motorcycle cops came through with lights and sirens stopping traffic. Then several Indiana State Police cars doing the same...
I admired the Gophers' resiliency. They had every opportunity to pack it in and instead fought back with everything they had. Kill is doing a great job. I hope he stays and he builds the program into a top tier one.
Yeah the Wild. I'm glad they are in the same division as St. Louis, Nashville and Chicago so those teams can grind up those overpaid Wild prima donnas. Cal Clusterfuck was the perfect Wild player. Big mouth but no balls.
I liked this game today. Minnesota lost. Minnesota lost for the 37th time...
I have advocated for years that there should be a January 1st Bowl Game at Soldier Field matching the SEC and Big Ten. Now I think it should be part of the playoff system.
