I think his court awareness is almost a direct result of the ridiculous fouls called against him. It also doesn't help when hes defending tony parker on the perimeter.
Everytime I turn it to the game Oden is getting fouls called on him. He just basically got punched in the face. and called for a foul. It's hard to improve when the refs make a point to "teach you a lesson" your rookie season.
So far this season, Evan has played 1004 minutes, matching last years total (37 games) in only 28 games.
His defensive numbers are very similiar as are his turnovers.
He has recorded 9 more assists and 35 more rebounds so far this season along with 158 more points.

I was just watching espn, and I don't really keep track of football recruiting. But on the bottom line it had the Big Ten recruiting classes....and I just knew it was coming. OSU first of course.

It definitely wouldn't be benificial to this years team if he ended up redshirting. But the 10' class would become very much like the 06' Class if David were to redshirt. We'd have some senior leadership with Lighty,Diebler and Lauderdale, barring injuries or transfers...along with a great...

But I'm glad hes playing under Sloan and I think he's going to be a very good NBA player as his game continues to evolve...
