I cringed when I read those comments in the press last year and gulped when I read them here. I'm betting those comments will be on the wall in tOSU's locker room all week leading up to our game and will be a particular point of emphaisis for the coaches and team.
Payback is a bitch.
I'll be...
I hijacked this from a Husker board. It's soooooooo good they stickyed it to keep it handy for the whole season.
I thought there would be some here who would like this schedule also:

Not to worry. These herbies are only pre-season prognostications. Nothing more than window dressing in reality. The awards that count are the post season awards and I'm thinking BM operating in UM's offense will overtake that QB from TSUN in short order.
You tOSU fans should start preparing...
Some Husker History and other information
Just in case anybody is interested:
1) Nebraska's vaunted home sellout streak enters its 50th year this season. The streak began on Nov. 3, 1962 - a 16-7 Homecoming loss to Missouri in front of 36,501 fans.
2) Nebraska ranks fourth all-time with...
Well rally around the fact that had Braxton NOT gotten injured, you'd have driven home victorious and not by just a little but by a lot.
Most Huskerfans know fully well and will freely admit the only reason we won that game was your dynamic playmaker, who was giving out defense fits, got...
He put up 20 TD's and close to 2000 yards off offense as a freshman last year. Traditionally college football players make their biggest leap forward from year one to year two. If he makes the kind of leap forward as I suspect he will, especially in Urbans offense, I'm thinking the sky's the...
Two charter members of the 800 wins club, both steeped in tradition and with multiple MNC's and mulitple Heisman and other major post season award winners going head to head in this vulnerable college football palace in front of a national television audience. What's not to like ?
Win or lose...
I like that photo. That's a REAL Ohio State jersey. Why tOSU went away from the grey bands in the armbands still mystifies me.
One quick glance at those jerseys and you knew it was TOSU.
What was the reasoning for eliminating those grey bands ? It made your jerseys sooooooooooo identifiable.
Since Barry Alvarez played his college ball @ Nebraska has been forthcoming in stated he modeled what he built @ Wisconsin after what he experienced @ Nebraska, there seems to exist an almost brotherhood between our two institutions/fanbases. Huskerfans felt very welcomed up at Madison last...
Some??? I'm inclined to think he'll leapfrog just about everybody being talked about as Heisman candidates at this point in the pre-season.
The kid is a once in a Tommy Frazier kind of QB. He's now got the absolute PERFECT coach and offensive system to showcase his dynamic talents. Even...
I'm looking forward to watching Nebraska play tOSU in that venerable/historic stadium. The shoe is steeped in sooooooooooooooo much history. I'm LOVING this move from the Texas centric big-12 to the B1G. So far, I've met nothing but respectful fans at various B1G boards like this one. It's...
Just out of curiosity, since Nebraska and Memorial stadium will be celebrating 50 YEARS of straight sellouts this season, What kind of sellout streak has tOSU got going at the Horseshoe ??
Seems like every time I watch a televised game from the shoe it's sold out.
Fortunately for Nebraska, our coach--Bo Pelini--is an ex buckeye player and knows all about the horseshoe and SHOULD have our team prepared. We'll see when the game actually happens how well he prepped Nebraska for the rousing cacophony which awaits his/our team.
While I'm a Nebraska fan, I'm also a college football fan and appreciate special players no matter what team they are on. RG3 down at Baylor is a perfect example. I watched a LOT of Baylor's game last season just so I could watch that kids magic. I'll be watching as much tOSU as I can this...
The quick turnaround Brady Hoke worked @ TSUN was noteworthy. Now it's tOSU's turn under Urban Meyer. Urban's track record in his first year at new institutions is unparallelled. Urban also TOTALLY understands the dynamics of this rivalry.
This years game should be electric and my $$$ is on...
