  1. tOSU Recruiting Discussion

I don't like what he is insinuating at all... Coombs has put a TON of work into Detroit and one class could easily tear down a lot of that. Which would be really unfortunate seeing the '16 and '17 talent we are very much in on as well
  2. tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Posted this on 11w... thought I might as well stop being such a lurker... I guess I'll take a shot at this... 15 Seniors then I have Elliot, Thomas, Jones, Bell, and Bosa going early (they've won a title, maybe too... and will all be higher draft picks next year). That puts us at probably...
  3. MD DT Adam McLean (Maryland signee; currently ineligible)

As a native DMVer I'm totally on board with local kids flipping from PSU to the Turtles
  4. KY RB Damien Harris (Alabama Verbal)

Can we lock this thread so this inane "argument" can go elsewhere and actual updates on Damien's recruiting will bump the thread?
  5. OH WR Justin Layne (Sparty Signee)

It was just a matter of time... Now get him in!
  6. Brendan Ferns (LB West Virginia)

My ex works for one of the petroleum companies in Houston (don't know which and no way in heck am I going to ask her). She majored in Geology at tOSU and got a masters in Geology from PSU. So that is a possible path (and we have a really good geology program)
  7. OL Grant Schmidt (transfer to Cincinnati Bearcats, transfer to South Dakota St. Jackrabbits)

I'm just pointing out your use of "out there"... South Dakota is much more football wilderness than Minnesota especially Wyzata (a public school sports powerhouse in a rich suburb). It was a stretch comparison. Though I do agree is Schmidt was playing in any of the football factory states he...
  8. OL Grant Schmidt (transfer to Cincinnati Bearcats, transfer to South Dakota St. Jackrabbits)

Wayzata is one of the major suburbs of Minneapolis. Not really "out there" at all... It'd be like calling Dublin "out there"
  9. LS Liam McCullough (Atlanta Falcons)

3 days, 3 commitments.... who wants to make it 4 straight? The banana train is leaving the station!
  10. MD ATH Kai Locksley (Texas signee)

Also, keep in mind that Baltimore is not the same sort of environment Diggs or Prince were in. Bmore is much more removed from the DMV area, and while UMD might be the "home team", there's not the same sort of pride that exists in Montogmery or Prince George's Counties (the ones bordering DC).
  11. '14 MD OT Damian Prince (Maryland Signee)

It's probably from the Washington Posts' All-Met section photoshoot
  12. Recruiting around the Big Ten

Letting the second tier go to the SEC... that is usually prime recruiting ground for teams like MSU, Illinois, NW, etc...
  13. Recruiting around the Big Ten

Still hate to see the way UK and Tenn are invading Ohio for all that 2nd tier (but VERY good) talent that usually fills the rosters of the B10... that is a trend I would like to see reversed.
  14. '14 MD OL Brock Ruble (Florida State Verbal)

Oh, not arguing that at all. I grew up in Silver Spring, like 15 minutes away or so. Damatha is an athletic powerhouse in all sports, tons of All-Met selections.
  15. '14 MD OL Brock Ruble (Florida State Verbal)

Your Maryland geography is off. Hyattsville is in the DC metro area, not Baltimore.
  16. Joe Mixon (RB Oklahoma Sooners)

wow... I want this kid in S&G bad
  17. WR Corey Smith (Official Thread)

Asked Michael Chung about that article, this was his response:
  18. LB Dante Booker (Official Thread)

that play at :33 alone makes me want him... great read on the QB and then the lateral quickness to get back into the middle of the field to make the INT UFM is gonna make sure we stay Linebacker U
  19. LB Trey Johnson (Official Thread)

    I stand corrected...
