Kyle won the districts in both shot and discus and then won the regionals in both shot and discus as well. In addition tonight after competing in the NFTC yesterday was invited to the opening.
Just a quick update: Kyle hasn't started taking it easy, in fact quite the opposite. He's hitting the weights very hard and is getting in very good shape. At the same time he's talking with recruits from all over.
I can't wait for this football season to start and we've just finished...
We met Ethan and his family over in Illinois during the photo shoot for Mel Kipers "Best of the Midwest" list that should come out this year for the class of 2014. Seemed like a great kid and family as well, I wish them luck.
One more thing, If you go back to pee wee, Kyle has played every position on the line including tight end and he can snap with either hand. He will go where they need him. He prefers left tackle but is open to helping anywhere he can.
Kyle is a little over 6'6 (same height as Jack Mewhort, they stood side by side) and weighs 294 right now. He was told they consider him a left tackle and enrolling early probably had him on the two deep right away. They said he is raw and needs some work on technique but that they really don't...
They did mention enrolling early as an option. But you guys can help me out... If you see people saying Kyle was asked to wait to commit until after NSD please correct them. That is not the case, he was asked to commit over a week ago. He could have committed at any time since the offer and...
First, grades are not an issue for the previous poster.
His pastor and trainer thinks he has one more growth sport I, I think its possible.
As for potential etc, yes they see a huge growth potential in Kyle. They love how far hes come but also how far he can go.
Appreciate all the thank you posts. Also, I don't mind the questions like FNL one above ATV. I understand people trying to figure things out. Heck, its not like linemen have yards and touchdowns to gauge their play lol
He keeps saying that but Kyle earned a varsity letter with over 20 res played and started three games at tight end. He was also the best linemen at camp in June, that's why he was at fnl
John McCallister has a nice write up about Kyle after evaluating him during a basketball game
