I get it, but Oklahoma has had the ball for 8 minutes more than Ohio State has. And it was always going to be hard to hold this team under 30. 24 was optimistic. 28 was realistic. 31 isn't great, but it isn't 45.
I don't disagree, especially when our last two losses have been bad to major college powerhouses, but it does provide some perspective to the idea that the world is crumbling.
I'd never suggest firing Meyer, but I have been wary of his 4th down decisions over the last year or so. Not sure why this team would ever pass on 4th and short opportunities when the run game is their #1 strength.
I don't think it necessarily matters if he winds up in Cleveland or not, but it'd be pretty weak for him to head back to Miami after Riley refused to pay him.
I agree. I'm not worried about this particular game, especially when you consider Urb's legendary halftime adjustments, but I am concerned about JT long-term. Even if the secondary improves and our run game becomes among the best in the country, we're going to struggle against the Oklahomas...
I'm in the same place. I've been a Barrett apologist since he took over in 2014, but he's missing the easy throws. I've begun to re-evaluate his entire game.
I can't seem to diagnose the issues with the passing game/offense. Last year I thought for sure the offensive coordinators were the problem, but now I'm not so sure. Controversially, I don't think it's JT, either. If I had to guess, I'd say it's the receivers. We don't seem to have that Michael...
