    I thought the conference champions got an automatic bid and first round bye under the new for at least now 12 team championship rules? The Committee had no power to keep UGA out of the playoffs, no matter how many players got hurt or otherwise left the team.

    Completely agree! And from a player safety point of view that’s a good thing. Targeting and other rule changes were designed to reduce injuries from tackling with the head first (which is probably the way you were taught back in the good tackling days). But how about we all jump out of this...
