Buckskins86:
I am a little confused and may be you can help me understand this: How did OL Nick Howell, who was ranked ahead of Bemoll by insiders a month ago, now is ranked 33rd in the west and Bemoll 9th?
Off topic.
The Pink Pony is on 501, heading towards the beach. I have been there. The best girl there was a Lithuanian named Passion who resembled closely a cross between a basset hound and Nancy Pelosi.
So, as this "MV3" saga has most definely ended, it is safe to conclude:
1. USCguru was wrong and he most likely won't be back to collect the apologies from grad21.
2. rdsbuck was correct about 2/3 of his predictions, but he was wrong when predicting that "a player with an S in his last name...
Barring accidents and health issues, stage # 16 will seal the deal for Lance, in my opinion.
Basso has desplayed tremendous stamina on the mountains so far, and the yellow jersey has demonstrated great character, but he surely looked totally spent at the end.
Lance looked as if he just went...

I agree with Biggins. Olson is the better QB of the two, in my opinion, but as I said, either one, or others, would do.
Obviously, there are a lot of nuances going on at this time which I have a difficult time comprehending. It might be that MS decision was made over five days ago...
Rocky Hinds was recruited as a QB. In his junior year of HS he was 2-9 as a starter, but played behind a very small line. He has a cannon of an arm and excellent moblity. Anything could happen with him, but I don't think USC needs another 6-4, 220 lbs WR/S at this point.
Olson would be a great...
Mark Sanchez will be participating in the Nike Passing Championship tomorrow on the USC campus.
I also don't think Mark would back out of a commitment.
bkb: 3 star and ranked 75th WR in the country, AND out of Florida. Go figure, right? May be your 3 star DE Ryan Williams will become as formidable as Mike.
MD: I'll give you QBs McDonald, Hance and Hart for Ginn.
Goofy: Unfortunately for us, it looks as if Mark Sanchez is Pete's #4 guy.
bkb: Rocky Hinds was the #1 QB on the west coast his junior year, before he suffered an enjury that kept him out the entire year. As I've mentioned before, I'd like to get MS, but I am very satisfied with the QBs we...
I left a post for rdsbuck on bucknuts asking for a clarification. Hopefully, he did not interpret my question as a flame and he will respond. I still feel rdsbuck knows a lot more about this subject than most. The fact that the mega-thread on BN was deleted, would seem to me that too much...
Mili:
rdsbuck is the poster who mentioned on bucknuts that tOSU would receive a commitment from a player whose name started with an S within the next 24-48 hours. That was two days ago. On the Texas board, they have a brief interview with Mark Sanchez where he indicates, that two nights ago...
to recapitulate:
According to USCguru, on this very board, Mark Sanchez deal was done, as of Tuesday, July 13th. That was exactly two days ago, after his last interview with Norm Chow.
Then rdsbuck pays a visit to the board and says that MS possible move to Columbus is now doubtful, after...
bkb:
You make a good point, and all hinges on weather Booty will red-shirt this year or not. Hinds will red-shirt for sure with 7 (including him) QBs going into the 2004 season. To Sanchez it might mean the difference between one or two years as a POSSIBLE starter. But, he will have to...

if you were a betting man, what would your call be on this one?
Personally, I think he's leaning to USC, notwithstanding Leinart's decision to stay.
bkb:
As I have mentioned before, Mark Sanchez IS the real deal. Good intuitive player, excellent HS coach, good family and most importantly, an intelligent and humble guy. I would be delighted if USC gets him.
But we also have two impact QBs waiting in the wings (Booty and Hinds) for Leinart...
This rdsbuck fellow must have VERY reliable information to be saying what he's posting on BN, especially now that he seems to have the mods' permission to divulge the news publicly, and FREE OF CHARGE.
He knows.
However, he better be the prophet, or he'll have to book an extended vacation...

I am not a recruiting "guru" by any means, nor an insider, but I question the logic behind the assertion that Pete followed Williams around, when we already have Germany, Schweiger, Miles, Stuart and Miller as DE types from the 2004 recruiting crop. Other than Spicer, who is a 5...
