I had to detox from college football a bit after Wisconsin decided it was high time to Leeroy Jenkins their season off the road and right into the ravine. Illinois was one of those games that was lost slowly, then all at once. I felt like the Badgers were pretty much in control until the Taylor...
As I understand it, the networks have a draft to pick which weeks they want the first pick; Fox paid for the first weekly selection and they've previously said they always pick the last week (so they can select OSU-Michigan).
Interestingly, that would mean ESPN has the choice of if they want...
Chances this is an 11 am game? There's a World Series game that night, and I believe ESPN/ABC has already picked Notre Dame-Michigan for the night slot.
I have no idea if this is true but if so LOL
There was a recruit in that (Wisconsin) locker room - the nephew of a friend - that said that before the game Paul Chryst said, 'This is going to be the weakest (DL) front you play the rest of the year, if you guys don't man up and manhandle these...

I'm confident they'll be back next year. Things were not looking good about halfway through the season, but they really improved over the last four or five games, including taking MSU down to the wire twice.
To put this into perspective...if you add up the straight-as-a-crow flies mileage for every team in the conference, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Thunder Bay, Ontario are all closer destinations than New York City.
NYC is like twice the driving distance for your average Big Ten school compared to Chicago or Indianapolis. Obviously most people will probably fly to NYC, but it discourages the fan who wants to drive from West Lafayette or Urbana and experience the tournament on a budget. So IMO it has less to...
The jury is still out on Gard. He gets a pass for this year after losing two rotation players to injury and having to start another with one functioning arm. Happ is pretty good, but there's not much beyond that in terms of talent. Next year will be the true bellwether.
Like others have said...
