  1. 2009 tOSU Offense Discussion

Because we're not talking about a guy who won 2 or 3 games and had a bad year, we're talking about a guy who was won a NC, been in two more, won many B10 titles, and has completely dominated our chief rival. He has a winning philosophy that has been proven over many years and at different...

I agree with alot you're saying but JT would quit before handing over the reigns to someone. It's not worth it to him.

  5. 2009 tOSU Offense Discussion

no offense to anyone, but it's not a given that Bollman is leaving. Sounds more and more like wishful thinking than anything. My biggest problem with our OL has always been the recruiting philosophy. If a kid's development isn't as far along as we need our OL has suffered. Been going on for...
  6. Game Thread #7 tOSU 18, Purdue 26 (Oct 17, Noon ET, BTN)

yes, sadly we save them for Michigan week it seems.
  8. OL Jim Cordle (Official Thread)

ugh I do not like how many OL guys we carry. We tend to carry only between 11-14 OL a year. I like to see that tick up one or two more spots. The fact we have 12 on scholarship and one as a gift (thank you Michigan), with 4 being true freshmen doesn't make me feel all warm inside.
  9. Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

The major thing that sticks out to me is not the workload, that's common, that happens even at a place like Harvard. The major problem for Michigan is the snitching. That's why he broke down on the podium, I doubted he saw that coming.
  10. Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

No offense but Valenti is hack
  11. Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

People handle things in different ways, I remember JT after the Mo ordeal, and he was unable to sleep most nights, JT acknowledges that the best thing that ever happened during that whole ordeal was after the ESPN story broke they went out and beat Michigan, which rallied the OSU fanbase behind...
  12. Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

Usually you count on your seniors to get the message across that people need to put in extra time. Now when a coaching change takes place, and you don't know anybody you try to instill a sense of urgency. That's not uncommon. Get what I'm saying.
  13. Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

They get Sunday off this year instead of Monday.
  14. Rich Rodriguez (official thread of last laughs)

They had a bad falling out during last summer's preseason.
  15. Confirmed: UM's Turner did not graduate, now at TSUN

it isn't official until he passes the NCAA clearinghouse like everyone else. However, they do expect him to be fine.
  16. Confirmed: UM's Turner did not graduate, now at TSUN

correct. Most schools operate like this, even ND which allowed Robert Hughes in with 2.5 GPA and a 18 ACT score.
  17. Seantrel Henderson (Buffalo Bills)

big vern was on a mission that game, made Long look bad.
  18. Seantrel Henderson (Buffalo Bills)

happened before, michigan landed an OL a few years ago that received the full USC treatment.
  19. Seantrel Henderson (Buffalo Bills)

Maybe, maybe not, remember my three keys in his recruitment, we'll see what happens, he hasn't visited USC yet. Could turn him off.
  20. Seantrel Henderson (Buffalo Bills)

Right now there's three scenarios for SH 1) He goes to USC, because that's where he wanted to go for the longest time, but it appears a little bit of a dream at this point, how will his family see him play, his friends you get the picture. 2) He goes to Michigan, which makes a lot more sense...
