That usually happens when a kid calls for a commitment. JT goes into his speech about what a commitment means, and so on. That's why we don't have decommitments. We always recruit until the final hour.
I agree, the weakness of our staff though is closing out recruiting classes strong. Especially with OOS kids that's all, we'll still be an annual winner, just we have a weakness in this area.
I agree with your thoughts the only thing I would like to add is we are consistently in the lead of prize prospect in December and January before we fall off. Then the negative recruiting takes over and we lose these kids, and we usually don't have a good come back for the negative recruiting.
It has nothing to do with Butler, it has to do with a kid from Det Ren that went to West Virginia, lastname Knight first name escapes me. Felt that RR did him wrong.
as of now none, he'll lineup and look over the defense, if he's in a pickle we'll call timeouts, no big deal. I expect us to run out of the I tomorrow most of the game and pound Minnesota. The OL should play better tomorrow.
We'll open it up more once he starts excuting. I think this was a rough week for him, maybe he'll take coaching better from now on. It's like the marines, you gotta break him down, and then build him back up.
I talked to the coaches earlier this week, about what I felt was how teams are totally disregarding the TE in our offense, (which of course everyone on this board knows) I said for a struggling QB to have a safety outlet, is a safe, low risk play, against a team like the Minnesota or Purdue can...
depends, usually it originates outside the hash and works its way to the middle, the original formation should open the middle of the field for the ballcarrier. The Qb should throw the ball just inside the hash depending on where the slant occurs, from there it's up to the ball carrier to make a...
In JT's world he won't attack the middle of field regularly with a QB who he doesn't trust yet. You think 4 turnovers are bad, once again if TP's first read is not available, he'll hesitate and most likely throw late. Throwing late down the middle is something that even Brent Musburger would...
In JT's world execution is the bottom line, playcalling is the least important, sure you can find a play or two that you can exploit a certain opponent with, and could be an important part of your game plan, but you what you are, you have your go to plays, and they need to work for you to be...
Pretty much agree, in my eyes here are the problems with the offense:
1) Pryor is asked to be the focal point, this hasn't worked because he's slow to coaching, not that he can't pick it up, he hasn't been very willing to pick it up, instead when the pressure is on he forgets coaching and...
