Agreed, the Gophers just built that new stadium, so they are serious in some ways, but it just seems that some in the BIG just aren't all in :D While the SEC is successful for many reasons, one of them is that the assistant coaches are quality, and well compensated, so seldom do they make a...
While I agree that he may be just taking the visit to appease State Penn, the saying "just get them to visit and we have a chance" may apply to PSU as well. While, from my perspective, spending time on that campus would freak me out with all that's gone on there, you never know what a kid will...
Agreed, look at all of the coaching defections at Bucky. While we can chalk some/a lot of that up to Bulemia being a douche, some has to be coaching compensation being better elsewhere. scUM and tOSU are paying more for their assistants, if the rest of the BIG want to be more competitive in...

I could see a playmaking TE or HB as well, good hands and tremendous wheels. We may see him go to either side of the ball, and the coaches may fight over him, versatile athlete, a good problem to have.
It would be great for UFM and the Buckeye's to establish Pa as a prime recruiting ground. Spence would be a great get at a position of need, he and Washington could easily push for time next year in the two deep behind Nate, as rush DE's which tOSU sorely lacked this year.
