This weekend I took a hike up to the top of the tallest mountain in Texas.
8,758' at the peak.
cool thing is at the monument up on the peak, I met a lady who was an Ohio State fan.
got the final score for the tOSU/Pedo State game while up there. :oh::io:
unfortunately, she was with a...
actually I think they are trending in the right direction.
for the last couple years, they have come really close to beating a few ranked teams just never could finish it.
I don't think they'll be a threat to win a title any time soon, but they're definitely getting better than they had been...
could be shitty weather in Baton Rouge on Saturday.
doesn’t look like anything serious at this point. So i don’t think it will affect kickoff time or location (except maybe lightning delays).
but a monsoon during a football game could make for an interesting evening.
also you’re sorta preaching to the choir here.
i wish power 5 team only played other power 5 teams.
but i don’t get a vote.
mainly for entertainment purposes.
we pay too much damn money for season tickets to have home games against Nicholls and South Alabama.
and the “big name” OOC games...
you’re missing the point.
Florida lost to an FCS school that didn’t even complete a pass.
there is literally no other point to my post except to remind people that Florida lost to an FCS school.
ahhhh, Louisiana girls.
cook like their grandmothers
drink and curse like their fathers
fight like their brother (who is likely in a jail somewhere).
will give you the best and wildest fuck of your life.
Can typically suck the chrome off a trailer hitch.
probably slash your tires and...
while do understand your point and mentioning that Florida lost to and FCS school isn’t really relevant to this discussion.
but since Florida lost to an FCS school, it does prove that it is always possible for a big name school like Florida to lose to an FCS school.
and since Florida lost to...
not arguing about Chickenshit Saturday, but would like to take this as an opportunity to point out:
Florida suffers first loss to FCS team in school history
I don't think Georgia Southern even completed a single pass that day.
Just ran it at will all day long.
if you want complete chaos, I ran the numbers and there is a mathematical possibility for a team with 3 total losses to win the SEC championship, and leave SIX teams from the SEC with 2 total losses.
and not anywhere remotely close to enough playoff spots available to plug that in. :banger:
I was at that game.
rained a LOT, so wasn't a very successful "white out" due to all the different color raincoats people were wearing.
according to rule, the home team has to get permission from the visitor "in writing" before the season starts in order to wear white.
the SEC now has a rule...
I get that they're just using the (currently) highest ranked teams for these projections.
But after spending the last couple days mathing around with tie breakers in the SEC, Georgia needs help to even get to the sec championship game.
so right now odds are they aren't winning the conference title.
messing around with tiebreakers for the SEC CG.
going to be really interesting to see how the committee handles that game (and how they manipulate adjust the rules going forward into future years).
because it's absolutely possible for the 2 participants will not be the 2 highest ranked SEC...
we've had a history of horrendous QB play, no doubt.
but the last decade has been between pretty solid for the most part.
TJ Finley fiasco for a few games in 2020 being the outlier.
Danny Etling and Max Johnson were both pretty efficient QBs. just neither of them were stars that were going to...
if you watched the Presser, that summary kind leaves out important details on several of the bullet points.
Important enough details to change the context of the points.
straight copy and paste from another site.
cary to give any of your amazing insights?
or do you prefer to just parrot other half-cocked bullshit talking points?
