Put me in the camp of being skeptical of Indiana. The have benefitted from outscheming equal or lesser talented opponents to this point. I’m not discounting the job that their coaching staff has done to this point. Everything being said, how do they do against a team playing their third top 5...
This one could’ve gone either way tonight. Here’s a positive I took from it. Oregon damn near played flawless tonight at home and won by 1 over a team who had two bad turnovers and many penalties. IF we clean that up we beat Oregonby 10 in Indy.
Oregon played to their ceiling and we didn’t...
I have no problem with this. Just because someone was a good player at OSU it doesn’t necessarily mean that he’ll be a good coach. Maybe JL isn’t ready…. If that’s the case, I say go find the best option out there.
I know that a lot of people have written off this game, but they shouldn't. This one could shape up to be a very good one. Push aside the self loathing/coach bashing and remember what first made you love OSU football. Just flip the game on and be a fan, this is a Bowl game and there's plenty...
The safe approach ended up backfiring. All great quarterbacks are risk takers. Watch any game on Sunday. The margin between a touchdown and a turnover is very small. You need a guy with the balls and the confidence to think he can get that touchdown.
OSU will age you very quickly, especially if you lose to the team up north.
Day is a good dude. His family is very nice as well. I have had some encounters with them throughout the years and they’ve always been very kind. He’s in a tough spot right now. How he handles the next year or so will...
I grew up watching the Buckeyes in the 80s and 90s. The Cotton Bowl isn’t anywhere close to what the Alamo Bowl, or Liberty Bowl used to be. Our fanbase is incredibly spoiled and it’s become overrun with people who are probably too young to remember times when we weren’t at this level. For...
You jumped to a lot of conclusions with my post, amigo.
I didn’t give him a pass, I was simply saying that the defense wasn’t up to snuff from a talent standpoint. You can play soft ass zone coverage and try to hide your weaknesses but a good OC will figure you out regardless.
Ive watched a...
Knowles’ biggest issue is that he played such an aggressive scheme with average athletes in our back 4. In order for his scheme to succeed you need to have great corners and safeties. These things aren’t his fault.
For all of the love people gave Coombs until it was too late, he really did...
I get the point that he was trying to make and I agree with it. Knowles has a scheme that will work at OSU. That being said, our back 7 can’t hang athletically against good offenses. I’m not saying that Georgia is good offensively, but they do just enough. I was at that game last night and...
