I rolled my ankle pretty bad playing basketball back in May (full jump, landed with sole of my foot pointed outward). It was excruciating at first, but me being a dumbass went ahead and played on it for another hour and a half. Needless to say I couldn't walk on it at all for a few days, and it...
He actually wasn't that highly ranked by the scouting services, and it wasn't because he wasn't well known because if I recall his two starting receivers went to Oklahoma and Texas. Almost seemed like a desperation move at the time to squeeze in a QB, as the Bucks had just lost out on Tahj Boyd...
This is the most concerning and disappointing thing for me. What are those offensive stats going to look like after this Nebraska-Illinois-Wisconsin stretch? I think things are going to get worse before they get better unfortunately.
Completely agree with the rest of your post too. We knew...
I see the bolded text that reads "if you bash a Buckeye coach or player..." right above this text box, so I don't know if saying this is against the rules or whatever since others are saying essentially the same thing, but yeah... saying Travis Howard had a "rough" day yesterday would be an...
I'd be extremely surprised.
If the offense can somehow muster up anything I could see it being a close game. But if Nebraska takes any sort of early lead (say, 14-0) then things will start looking grim quick and that'll be the case the rest of the year. It's bad when the team's offense is so...
I see what you're trying to say, but what has Guiton and Graham showed up to this point? About as much as Braxton = not much. Does him being one of the top recruits in the country help him see the field quicker? Of course. But I'm guessing the coaches know who should be out there and who...
I agree. I don't care if a walk-on is the guy, I just want the best one out there. I can see why they're going with Miller since they hope he's the "QB of the future" and they're going to see what he's got, but I'm guessing a lot of it has to do with what goes on in practice. I think at this...
They just don't know who they want to be on offense.
They recruited these raw athletes at the QB position (Pryor and Miller), and then essentially try to jam a square peg into a round hole by putting them in this I-formation, "smashmouth" somewhat pro-style offense. If that's who they want to...
Bauserman didn't exactly light it up against Miami either. It appears there's no solution to that problem, unfortunately. This is just going to be an abysmal passing attack no matters who's at QB. Neither QB is really starter material at the moment, but... what else are you going to do? Run J...
Until I see something that tells me differently, I don't see this team winning many more than 6-7 games. I've come to accept that pretty much, but hopefully they finish strong and carry some momentum going into next season.
Agree with all of this. That play-action handoff is terrible, mainly because the QB's are so awful at selling it and they do it way too much. It's not going to fool anybody basically, and it just turns these two raw, at-the-moment-not-very-good QBs' backs to the defense which they don't need...
I don't see any way this team isn't 3-5 after this rough stretch coming up. I guess I was just too optimistic about this season; they're just so young and raw, and simply not as talented as usual. This offense is going to finish near the bottom of the country (100-120).
Just gotta beat...
I remember a video interview with him at the beginning of camp, and he said he was at 221 then. He looked a little bit out of shape from some of the check-in pictures; maybe he's just not in football shape yet? I've definitely been surprised by how little of an impact he's made so far. The guy...
