I'm really afraid that might have been a broken rib / maybe bruised or punctured lung kind of injury. His arm might have jammed into his ribs when he landed. He is having trouble breathing.
While I certainly don't think they'll lose all three of those games (although it's possible), there's no denying that all three of them are absolute toss-ups.
He's the best player on the field, but if this team gets down in games... well, I'm not exactly confident that he can pass them back into it.
Kind of scary that Tim Tebow had a freaking 66% career completion percentage in this offense. He's just got a long ways to go throwing the ball.
Obviously. It's still just kind of surprising that he's that far off considering he was pretty much set in stone as a starter this year. People keep saying... "He's young, the light will eventually come on for him" but wow. This doesn't really bode too well IMO. He might need to pull a Sabino...
Sorry if this has been discussed before, but what's the deal with Curtis Grant?
Is his on-the-field play such a liability right now that's he pretty much unplayable at this point? I know he got benched for Storm Klein and was moved to 2nd string SLB, but with Sabino out they're going...
I know this is kind of off topic, but they had an article discussing the overall speed of the major BCS conferences in a recent Sports Illustrated. It was from combine times (the only valid times to consider) over the last 5 years. This doesn't really prove anything of course. Like a poster said...
I know it's early, but it seems like his career has pretty much mirrored Sabino's up to this point. 5 star prospect, #1 LB in the country that everyone assumed would be a huge factor from day 1 and be in the league after 3 years, ends up not doing anything in their freshman years but then...
This "limiting the carries of Braxton Miller" crap is not going to work out well, but it's obvious they're trying to do that. Him running around just making stuff happen is the only way this offense is going to score. He's not going to hurt anybody back there in the pocket, but looks like...
QFT. Everybody knew the offense was going to be terrible / mediocre this year, but this defense is still surprisingly bad. 4 games in... I think what we're seeing is what we're going to get at this point.
I always thought the base OSU D was considered a 4-3/3-4 Hybrid anyway. They usually run a 4-3 under, right? With the SAM LB up on the LOS almost like a DE, and the LEO/VIPER standing up and can either rush or drop on any given play. Seems like the kind of SSDEs they recruit are always almost...
Yeah, the Viper or LEO is the Bobby Carpenter-Vernon Gholston-Thad Gibson-Nathan Williams-Noah Spence DE/OLB position. Stand up DE basically that rushes about 65-70% of the time and drops back into coverage on other plays.
I just wonder how much playing time Lewis will get the next few years...
I'm expecting around 2,300 passing yards, 20-24 TD's, with around 850-1,100 rushing yards and 10-14 TD's. Great numbers, but not Heisman-worthy numbers, but I think either next year or his senior year is when he could be putting up the 3,000+ passing yards and 30 TD's and 800+ rushing yard...
