  1. 2015 Offense Discussion

QB is the product of people around them. Start with coaching. Make a decision stick with it. OL fix bad snaps, false starts, holds, Running game Zeek needs to see holes and needs to be patient, OL and WR block better, better flow of calls WRs need one QB, find the most consistent right now...
  2. 2015-16 Ohio State Quarterback Discussion

If you watch Conner Cook, he does a lot of tricky stuff with the RBs, fakes and so forth to confuse the defense. That comes with reps. I wish we would just stick with Jones no matter what and let him become very comfortable with his OL and everyone else.
  3. RB/WR Curtis Samuel (Buffalo Bills)

Ahead of Braxton IMO.Has no wasted moves. Very efficient runner. Finds the lane and hits it hard. Braxton sometimes dances too much and that leads to negative yards which kill drives. It is worth investing in Braxton at the moment because if and when he tunes his cuts, he will be deadly.
  4. RB Ezekiel Elliott (All B1G, All-American, National Champion, Pro Bowl, All Pro, Dallas Cowboys)

I hope Zeke is only focused on winning and not worrying about the Heisman. Keep getting those first downs and do whatever you were doing last year to help your team and keep smiling even when the touches don't come.
  5. WR Parris Campbell Jr. (Philadelphia Eagles)

Did not use the opportunity as much as he could have to lock in his starting spot. He had the separation though. He just needs to finish. I am sure he will do great.
  6. WR Noah Brown (Washington Commanders)

My heart aches for this kid. I have followed him from the very beginning. One important note in my mind is that Noah is not just a receiver. He was going to be our best blocking WR and he was going to be opening big holes for Braxton, the QB, and others. Our offense always needs that guy...
  7. WR Torrance Gibson (Green Bay Blizzard)

    Taste...
  8. WR Torrance Gibson (Green Bay Blizzard)

Jones or JT without the ball would be taking someone else spot who is more talented plus they would be asked to block or something they are not used to and risking an injury. Gibson on the other hand is skill set superior to most but he still has to be consistent to be on the field more than few...
  9. OL Billy Price (National Champion)

Is our best DL on this team currently a starting OG and would he be reconsidered if needed and a viable replacement emerges on OL?
  10. WR Torrance Gibson (Green Bay Blizzard)

Very exciting...not many will be able to stay with him. He has unbelievable acceleration and long strides after that and he is very athletic and tall of course.
  11. WR Torrance Gibson (Green Bay Blizzard)

Would probably end up being our #1 deep threat WR by seasons end if he chooses to split a good portion of his time to WR now. It is not an easy decision however because he would lose some ground to other QBs.
  12. Rashard Lawrence (DT Arizona Cardinals)

His first step is very quick, I would be very happy if we got this kid.
  13. QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

The ones he asks to run are the ones he specifically recruited for that skill set just like any running back or any other position.
  14. 2015 B1G Football Discussion

You just ruined my Friday morning, which is generally hard to do.
  15. QB J.T. Barrett (B1G FOY, All American, Silver Football Award, 3x B1G QBOY, National Champion)

JT' s performance tapered off sharply last year towards the end. His Indiana game was probably his worst. He was a RS freshman so it is understandable. However, there was a sharp loss of momentum and this carried over to the Michigan game early. It will be interesting to see how he comes back...
  16. Assistant Coach Tim Hinton (Official Thread)

I was expecting a fart sound when he bent over to touch the cone.
  17. Terrell Lewis (LB Los Angeles Rams)

Good luck Terrell. You committed when you knew and you decimmetted when you knew. Better now than 2 days before signing day, I suppose, for both sides. Ohio state needs more top DT's. I would love to see still two more interior defensive linemen but definitely one run stuffer. You can't have...
  18. 2015 B1G Football Discussion

i am not certain our defense will be elite this year. Not saying they will have to be, but defenses win championships and with the loss of Bennett and Grant and a new middle LB, and with the lapses they had late in the regular season last year, I am not sure we will not be tested hard early on...
  19. TE Luke Farrell (3rd Team All B1G, Jacksonville Jaguars)

Just saying both of them are tremendous players and are able to do many things for you. With 2 of them on the field, you can run multiple options from the same base formation.
  20. TE Luke Farrell (3rd Team All B1G, Jacksonville Jaguars)

The two tight end set will be an offense in of itself with these two very tough, athletic, football smart kids. Farrell could easily play DE and start, and they both block, run and catch very well. And oh yeah once you make contact with them after the catch, make sure to hang on and get help...
