It's never been black. I have no problem with the small changes that have been made throughout the programs history. The uniform has been consistent, with only minor stylistic changes, since 1968.

The entire history of the program trumps the current players. Their opinions on the uniform should mean jack shit.

Hated them, hated them, hated them. I purposely abstained from wearing anything black on principle. The names and numbers were all but impossible to read and they looked like Oregon State out there... And I'm 27 (26 for most of my hate of the uniforms in this thread) I would have hated these...

Tradition is far more important than any recruit, and any recruit that is going to be swayed by a fucking black uniform can go to Oregon.
