I think as long as Proctor comes back healthy (which he has said he's ahead of schedule) I believe we will be set with Hickman, Proctor, and McCallister.
Not at all. I’m saying that Fletcher at Penn State, for example, could be a really good 3 down back. Like how Beanie and Byars was at Ohio State. But Ohio State is currently recruiting at such an all time high that Fletcher could very well be a situational Back. So my response to the other...
I agree that I don’t see those comparisons, but there are plenty of “big time programs” that Fletcher would likely be a 3 down, program changing RB. For example, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Penn State, etc…are all programs that Fletcher would be their Beanie or Byars. Similar to Miyan Williams. He...
Just heartbreaking…I can’t imagine what his family is going through. Gone way too soon! You made Buckeye nation proud, young man! On and off the field! Rest easy.
I just re-watched his highlights. I know there’s been a lot of back and forth on a good comparison for Fletcher but I have one that I haven’t seen. LeVeon Bell at MSU. Running style looks identical and he’s similar size. Now, obviously Bell dropped about 30 lbs, got super ripped, and changed up...
You could be right…but I’m a huge JK fan. I think he’s going to end up being the best of the three, even Burke. And we all know Burke is really good! Buckeye probz!
So Carlos Hyde? Or Antonio Gibson? But I am just not seeing Walker at all. And it’s not just about size. But it definitely plays a part in how players play. You don’t see Walker moving piles really.
Haskins is a good comp. Carlos Hyde was my first thought when I watched his film. Either way, he’d be a great addition to Day’s offense with all of that talent out wide.
Saw a video a couple weeks ago of him just stonewalling dudes at a camp. I’ve been hesitant to make this comparison, but I’ll do it…Quinten Nelson! I know, the best OG in the NFL. But he’s so nasty and strong. His lower body is powerful. I think he’s a top 25 player. Very underrated.
It’s because I read your post wrong. I thought you were saying you didn’t like Holden because he wasn’t a good enough 3 pt shooter. And then with your MJ/Kerr comment I thought you were making my point for me. But I re-read your comment. So my bad. That’s what I get for commenting while sitting...
