Paris, Dawand and the Frye era

@ShowMeBuck you’re right, Frye is walking into an OLine that will have all 5 starters drafted. I’m not sure Paris leaves after this year but if he does, both Tackles should go in the first two rounds. I also believe Matt Jones is probably a round 4-5 guy. Next year will be Wypler and Donovan...

    DT Jason Moore (Official Thread)

Worthington is a great comp. I was trying to think of guys who played that DE/DT hybrid and the most obvious two I could think of were Cam Heyward and Richard Seymour. While I’d he ecstatic if Moore is either of those, I think Worthington is probably a much better comp. I think Moore will play...

Tackett Curtis (LB Southern Cal, transfer to Wisconsin)

What part doesn’t sound overly encouraging? The fact that he had an “awesome” trip? The coaches making it “special?” Or that he thinks the coaches have a “great” program? Are you wanting him to go to Wisconsin? I’m somewhat confused.

OC/WR Coach Brian Hartline (Official Thread)

Yeah…He’s not bad. I was actually looking through this thread because there was someone (when Hartline was given the interim tag) who was pissed saying something like “This is Ohio State and we need PROVEN coaches.” Couldn’t find it, so I had to quote something while I was back in 2018 haha!

2024 NC QB Jadyn Davis (ttun Verbal)

I think he’s actually 6’3 and probably about 220. And yes, he’s absolutely a QB! And to be honest, I don’t care if he’s Dawand Jones size…the kid can move and sling the rock effortlessly!

I’ve also seen Montgomery’s name mentioned as an option at Center. Plus Hinzman in the last class. There will be no shortage of options at Center.

OT Paris Johnson Jr. (All-American, Arizona Cardinals)

I agree. But I’m going to be completely honest. I’m not so sure that Donovan Jackson isn’t the best LT prospect on the team. I know he doesn’t have ideal size, but I just think his skill set is superior to anyone else. I saw a quote from Kevin Wilson where he said Jackson reminded him of Trent...

    WR Brandon Inniss (Official Thread)

I was just talking about guys he personally recruited. I agree, which is what I was saying by “claiming” the others. He had a significant impact. But we are just now seeing the kids he recruited come all the way through the program. Sorry I didn’t explain myself better.
