I have confidence in Day. Urban would not have handled this like Day, he would have handled it behind closed doors most likely if you listen to stories from players and ex-coaches, but he would not have made it public like Day did. Personally, I like Day's method better, if he indeed does...
Tommy was doing his job. The problem is, everyone knows Tommy's job. Hence, it is like taking candy from a baby. Tommy isn't going to cover a back out of the backfield on a wheel route successfully anyway, but it is his job. Or you can do like the Gophers did, on 3rd and 8, line up a WR in...
I haven't seen that many coaches that were terrible at scheme but were incredible position coaches. The scheme can make a good player look like he isn't. We have seen it time and time again. Yet I am seeing the players taking blame again for lack of talent. Well I am calling BS like usual...
I might need some guidelines on bashing vs criticism please.
So if I say something like "If I see one more GD defensive back face guard and not turn their head and look for the damn ball I am driving to Cbus and kicking Coombs in the nuts".
Because that may be less harsh depending on the score...
Thank F-ing gawd. No reason to screw this kid and not let him play when they are letting everyone else that sheds a tear transfer. So happy for this kid. I hope he stands out. He has to be hungry not knowing if he would see the field or not. I feel sorry for some B1G RBs.
I think everyone that watched the game would say CJ didn't play badly, but he wasn't Fields or Haskins either. CJ didn't look real comfortable and he missed several throws high that the announcers were pointing out. The video break down I watched, there were reasons for the high throws and it...
My expectations were too high. I didn't think it would bother him much that it was his first game and I expected he would come out and light it up. That is on me. He played like it was his first start, kinda because it was his first start.
I saw a great break down from an analyst and he...
Time will tell. I was really impressed with the Georgia defense, team speed, Dline and LBs. Clemson's Oline appeared to be the bigger issue than missing Lawrence or Etienne. No QB can throw off his back lol. That Oline got their asses handed to them. The real question is was it because...
Remember, it has been a long time since he has actually ran the ball in a real game. Didn't get to play last year. Just wait until he gets in a groove and gets some carries. Running the ball is a feel thing, a rhythm thing, and cannot be duplicated in practice no matter how hard the scout...
Shouldn't be an issue. You can drop 8 from your base defense, ie Alabama game pick from our DE. We don't have to show our hand by our personnel on every down. You can drop 8 any time. Plus we have enough DBs that we can play a nickle, which we did a ton, and drop 8. I think it is more the...
One thing I have not noticed and maybe I am missing it, but with our piss poor pass coverage, I haven't seen us dropping 8 and giving anyone any help on obvious passing situations. It is like there is a rule that we must rush a minimum of 4 players at all times? WTF?
I would like to see him get more touches obviously. Not that I think he should be ahead of Williams at this point, but I would like to see a one two punch between those two and those two only.
