Wayne is as pro-OSU as it gets, you can usually assume if a player there gets an offer they are picking us. Dayton in general for the most part but especially Wayne.
All those points but he does really need to work on his hands bringing the ball in. Because literally every other skill set is there.
Two other things though. He was wide open on the TD but we've seen guys drop that. So I'm glad for that. Second, that interception was not on him...he wasn't...
He could be, he plays against pretty good competition overall and everyone looks like they are in slow motion compared to Brown. Probably the fastest OH kid since Teddy Ball Game and that's no joke. Plus he is not just a straight-line speed guy, he has WR skills...needs development but the...
Well if NIL is similar, Frye has put development on full display this year and in terms of PT, wide open competition at LT next year and to the point where I think Sanders could legit start as a true frosh at LT if he lives up to the hype. I think part of the battle is just getting the kid out...
Get those MF golden pants my guy. His effort has earned it, time to convert it into hardware though. He knows that but I want to see it after his effort and dedication to OSU.
This is a young man than earned it and is a true captain. He is the rock of this defense if it isn't clear by now, although Downs is right there. But for this thread, Simon is killing it this year and we have to have him on the championship march.
I know money is money...but that electric crowd and Frye showing he can develop OL had to at least be impactful. Also, spend what we can on this kid to make sure. Serious game changer. Hope there is traction here...
In my lifetime (the 21st century mostly), I would go Doss, Whitner, Hooker, Downs in that order (and Malcolm if we consider him a safety, my avatar will evidence how much I liked Malcolm). But it is premature, if Downs keeps this up he will be #1. I can't remember seeing a safety that diagnoses...
I usually never support a Christmas tree going up before Thanksgiving, but if it is a Buckeye tree that totally changes everything. Cool tradition. Also, why we are at it, FUCK *ICHIGAN. I have waited for this Saturday for the entire year to give retribution to these cheaters. After that IU...
Absolute stud and definition of a team leader. It was fun to watch him today and he does what he needs to lead and get the job done. And you can't ever question his heart and will to win. I had to give him a specific shout out. Don't get me wrong, he's got talent...but the intangible qualities...
The second the clock hit zero (as Day said), I was filled with the utmost hatred and vitriol. I could smell skunk weasels all the way from the Pacific Northwest, it's a putred yet distinguishable smell far worse than the worst porter potty I've been at in a hot county fair.
M's will be crossed...
Knew it was coming, but just not that soon. Kid is an elite talent and we won't have to worry about him looking elsewhere, he'll be helping recruit in this class big time. Welcome aboard another great Wayne Warrior, he's going to be so fun to watch.
Another tremendous job with having a makeshift OL. They were for real excellent against a very good defense when I didn't really know what to expect. I want to be the first to praise a coach after I've been critical. That was a hell of a tough assignment and he had that group ready.
The change has to be made. I mean this quite literally, I've never seen a player that holds so much and the refs know it, so they're looking for it every time and other teams are targeting him knowing they'll get the call. He just can't help himself and in a close game he is going to cost us big...
Complete team effort. Defense made all the plays they needed to and got off the field. OL was just seriously incredible with all the shifting around due to injury. Senior captains made huge plays and showed tremendous leadership. Downs is seriously incredible and that was about the best punt...
I'm glad I'm not taking crazy pills. I've been losing my mind seeing us over pursue and not break our feet down when it matters. Hell-bent blitzes with no discipline are killing us.
I think we're pretty much all worried if that doesn't change.
