If Beck were to be let go or demoted, I think we should take a look at Mike Sanford, the young QB coach at Notre Dame. He did a heck of a job with Kizer this year, and it would be good to take more coaches from the Domers. I know this is entirely unlikely, especially because Sanford has ND ties...
I don't think anyone who plays or roots for this Ohio State team should be afraid of any team in the country, but if the question is, "Who would you least want to see in the playoffs?", to me the answer is clearly Alabama. They have a roster full of former top prospects who will play in the NFL...
I frankly would not look forward to playing an Alabama team motivated by revenge in the first round, all things being equal. And while all teams involved in the playoff picture at this juncture have top talent at the skill positions, i think Bama is the only team who can match our on-field...
I tend to agree with this. All of OSU's signature games are ahead of them, and the Committee has some incentive to avoid a matchup between OSU and Clemson/Bama for the reasons outlined above. If everyone wins out, i see a finish of 1. OSU 2. Clemson 3. Alabama 4. Notre Dame/Baylor/Okie State.
And we've already seen Notre Dame and Clemson play this season. Regardless, if Baylor or Okie State wins out, one of Alabama or Notre Dame will be left out (assuming OSU and Clemson also win out).
Or perhaps the committee gradually moves them into the top 4, then drops them out following conference championship weekend to prove a point. That would be delightful.
When we had a BP poll in the past, we PMed our ballots to LJB by the deadline and he announced the collective results. Then everyone posted their ballots publically. This time around, are we just posting them publically from the get go?
Since everyone else is posting their ballots up front...
Good grief. I think we all need to chill out. Not everybody's the perfect person in the world. I mean everyone kills people, murders people, drives while under the influence, whatever.
He's a pervert. A registered sex offender, with a record. If he leaves Ann Arbor, he'll have to go door to door telling people he filmed a woman without her consent.
