Valenti on Friday was calling out their approach to NIL as bizarre with how much they’re dragging their feet and/or just not embracing it. Having arguably your top athlete publicly saying this has to have an impact...
Valenti’s show has been doing a segment the last couple months where Rico reads a real headline about a UM QB from the last 15 years and Valenti/others have to guess who it’s about. Heisman candidate, comparison the NFL greats, etc. Then they all have a good laugh about how stupid UM fans and...
The FDA literally just approved it. Insurance companies are figuring out options, talking to their regulators, determining whether they want to recommend industry standards vs flexibility, etc. It’s happening as I type this. No comment in this thread was remotely claiming it was already available.
That only applies to business sold in the ACA market. There are tons of 50+ Employee groups today with riders that exclude coverage for any number of benefits (maternity, contraceptives, you name it). There are even individual policies in most states that carve out certain benefits. Stop acting...
Again, I was responding to the article.
Also, your other point you’re making, that it isn’t allowed or being considered, is incorrect. Part of my job is to go through these things.
This is true for some elements of the ACA but not premium setting (or essential health benefits for that matter, which is what ORD’s initial comment would fall under), which is what the article was talking about. Employers with 50+ employees (the majority of insureds) can be rated with a lot...
That article is talking about whether the ACA market (excludes most employer sold health insurance btw) can vary premium based on whether members have the vaccine. That’s a different situation than the original comment, whether insurers can reject claims for members that already paid their...
Dave Chapelle is sooo far above everyone else IMO. Randomly ended up front row in Detroit last week and it turned out they were filming his next Netflix special, unfortunately wasn't repping the OSU shirt.
I’m not following how NIL is relevant with this. Or are you saying NIL makes this league less likely to actually stick around and more likely to not change from how it’s been?
I think this is a good point. What I suspect may change is the non SEC conferences wanting to modify previous discussions to try to put a cap on the number of teams from a conference and/or revenue splits.
He was at Mich St this week for an unofficial visit. Feels to me like that confirms this was not a “miss” but should be bucketed in some other category.
Any way we could get a bunch of the non insiders on here to give daily updates on how they’re feeling about where he’s leaning and why he should pick OSU?
Any ONE of the things that happened are enough to make the point about ESPN bias. The fact that the one thing that was randomly picked out of the article is way down the list but still makes the point only drives it home further. I don’t think anyone in this thread was trying to draft a wiki...
