You'll never see Urban be as cutthroat at Saban due to his 2 year agreement. But it cuts both ways, IMO. It helps keep guys like Schiano around for at least 2 seasons when he could've easily had another HC shot at a smaller school next season.
But it also guarantees guys like Beck and Whithers...
Beck has been cited as the major factor for pulling several recruits, including Browning. May as well take advantage of the ONLY thing he's been good at before moving on. Just have to be up front w the kids
@Honor&Glory Glad to hear she made it out ok and is on her way to recovery. Looking at some of these posts, I would be very careful listening too much to everyone else's experiences with surgery. Each person's case and joint damage is different, especially the shoulder, that it is almost useless...
Man the pessimists come out of the woodwork after some losses. This thread was dead when the cavs were blowing teams out. Makes you wonder if people like to be "look at how much we suck" miserable over giving credit during success.
Oh I totally agree that right now, SA and GS would win a series with the Cavs. But the potential is there for Cleveland to improve by the time they'll meet to make it a toss up. Still a long ways to go to get there so hopefully the bench/role players will contribute, bc the Big 3 each played...
Look I get it. The Drive. The Shot. The Browns sucking since returning to the league. But for Cleveland sports to move forward, the pessimism and dwelling on the past has to stop. I'm not talking abut blind optimism, but the cloud of past failures has to move on and the fans can help with that...
Jesus, this is this thread after a win? A win over a hot shooting team playing way over their heads at that?
And I'd say Detroit were the mental midgets after their 4th quarter meltdown. The Pistons gave them their best shot and still lost by 5. That has to be mentally draining.
JFC people, we lose one game to the #5 team in rain and wind on a walk off field goal even with a horrible game plan and now we're losing to a mid major?
Get a fucking grip and fuck Michigan
Glad to help out, hopefully she can manage until then.
Re: labrum healing on its own: the labrum is very much like the meniscus, in that it has a very poor blood supply. This means it cannot heal as effectively as a muscle or tendon can. The shoulder will be unstable for a longer period, and...
Reading nutriaitch's post above mine, that sounds like a typical reaction of the shoulder if she would continue to throw and do rehab only. It may work out now, but eventually it will catch up to her and her prognosis after surgery will not be as good. If it's a clean, small tear only her rehab...
Majority of recent research indicates non operative management of labrum tears is not associated with a good outcome, especially for throwing athletes.
Think of it this way, if a varsity athlete at OSU tore her labrum, they most likely would perform surgery ASAP to limit total amount of time...
