I’m extremely curious what happened here. What influenced this decommitment? It has seemed like Innis is trending in that direction. Would have made for a nasty duo…
Per Bank on MorningScoop pod today, OSU firmly in the lead for Styles as of now. Plenty of time remains in his recruitment, but Greene states that Sonny is already talking to other recruits about joining him in Cbus.
Perhaps. But that would entail beating out Stroud. Ewers may be more talented, but if Stroud carries OSU to the championship and comes in next season with an extra yr over Quinn, it’s not like he can automatically unseat CJ. The kid can ball
Theoretically this could work out for 3/4 qb’s in one scenario (Dr Strange GIF):
Stroud for next two years, Quinn for a year after, then McCord - patiently waiting this whole time, comes in and saves the day with Jaydn Davis under his wing in ‘24
Tim May interviewed Quinn’s trainer, who also said he works 500 hrs/yr with Patrick Mahomes. He emphasized that Ewers does not deserve to be compared to Mahomes at this point, BUT, those are the only two guys he’s ever known who have the ability to “access that range of motion from any position...

So if they were to “only” land six DB’s, hypothetically, would they fill the spot with another position? Are they adamant about capping at 25? Could be that 4th o-lineman
I wish Micky Marotti was more of a show-offy social media guy that would brag about JT’s rapid progression in Cbus…of course if Mick was like that, he prob wouldn’t be coach Mick. Football just needs to happen like yesterday ugh
I have wondered this for so long…he has to be a sort of voice of the OSU coaches with the level of intel he’s getting. It’s an ingenious aspect of Day’s recruiting, and obviously it gives us so much more perspective on the outside
I’m a firm believer that if you match up Bama and OSU’s recruiting classes, you’d have a distinct advantage at a number of key positions. Sure, not everywhere (namely OL, but we got Donovan Jax), but at enough impact positions to close the gap.
the most exciting part to me is you know Hartline already sold him on it. He has the vision all lined up and this kid can get it done lined up anywhere, running anywhere across the field…gotta love how each of these receivers bring a different skill set into the fold, you check out their...
