Nice to see Jay Pedterno lecturing other coaches at the annual AFCA convention about the value of crisis management and the evils of the media. How does this guy even get an invite to speak?

Slow week for OSU wrestling... Myles Martin and Luke Pletcher are wrestling unattached at Midlands. Both went 3-0 into the quarter finals. Martin squeaked out a 10-9 decision in the first match against a no name guy from FMU and then won two matches easily before falling to Decow from ODU 7-4 in...
Missouri was down 3 starters but OSU wrestled well. Moore showed a lot against Cox and Pletcher won a tight match against a 2x NCAA senior qualifier. Solid team win.
Ke-Shawn Hayes is apparently done for the year. No word on the nature of the injury but OSU is pulling Pletcher's redshirt

As much as I like the potential of Pletcher losing Hayes is a setback
After 1 full day OSU leads at the CKLV Open:
1. Ohio State 73
2. Virginia Tech 71
3. Minnesota 61.5
4. Cornell 59.5
5. Central Michigan 57
125 - Rodriguez in the semi-finals
133 - Nato in the semi-finals
141 - Fitzgerald lost in the 1st round (Hayes out 4-6 weeks)
149 - Jordan in the...
Had a chance to watch the Kent/CSU replay last night... pretty much echo RB07OSU's comments. Hard to say how good both of those teams are. CSU looked especially bad and KSU didn't have the one or two guys that are potential AA's they normally do. Really interested to see how JRod, Hayes and...
Good summary. Our backups are very limited athletically and if the starters are out we're gonna lose those matches most of the time - same as last year. Jake gassed very early in that match against a guy he should beat. Was looking forward to Bo vs Valencia. Guess we'll have to wait till March...
I think that is still up in the air. He apparently did not qualify based on both SAT and some core classes so there is work to do at NDC before he can even think about transferring. But he would have been great to have in that line up at either 157 or 165 because those are big weaknesses.

I agree on Myles. He's probably the least likely to repeat of the ones from 2016 but he should be able to AA. I do want to see him against some of those bigger guys in the B1G to see how he is matching up on strength. Bo has a great shot because he looked very good at 174 last season before...
They were somewhat limited in who they sent to EMU but the guys that went did OK and some of the backups got some needed match experience. Jordan (149), Pletcher (133), Moore (197) all won titles. Waiting for some video to be posted to give a more detailed analysis of the matches.
At the NWCA...
Well the bible tells us he was a carpenter so he had some skills with tools we're told. He mixed a little success with honor in there and made PSU. Of course he did all this on week days only because he liked to chill on the weekend by himself - Signed BWI
For this to be a conspiracy it has to include the following groups working in close coordination and all determined to take down beloved JoePa:
Two former PA Attorney Generals
Multiple prosecutors
Multiple criminal investigators
The Pennsylvania State Police
Two grand juries - Sandusky & C/S/S...
