Dad was also a total beast at LB for UGa, and had a great career for the Panthers. I can’t fathom us being able to pull him from there but may as well throw an offer out and see what happens.

Same city, but Lawrence went to Cartersville High. The amount of QB talent within an hour of Atlanta the past 8 or so years is insane. Fields from pretty close to there as well in Kennesaw
I was 10 and went to a Kentucky basketball camp as a kid and saw Walter McCarty and Tony Delk both pull up to the camp in Cadillacs. It was so out in the open and that was like 95/96. I couldn’t believe it even then that the NCAA couldn’t get these kids in trouble. Of course now it’s legal...
I guess the challenge is that walkons don’t get to use the same meal options, living arrangements, health benefits, etc. I can’t fathom convincing an Ohio State caliber player to walk on citing lack of space, when they could get a scholly somewhere else and transfer in the next year if there is...
If we get Delane, Brew, and McNutt….that would be 6 db’s ranked in the top 35 nationally overall. That would have to be the best DB recruiting class, ever, at any school. Could be 5 or 6 5stars
I think he meant at the DB position. Seems we are almost locks for Delane, Brew, and McNutt and already have the 3 corners committed. Not sure what the number is, but I see 6 as being right.
