  1. 2022 ttun recruiting

I don't get how the coaches up there can be so good at selling their capability to the athletic department and so bad at selling their capability to 18 year olds. Must be their athletic department has much lower standards...
  2. tOSU Recruiting Discussion

Exactly. And with title 9, you're not just giving the football team additional scholarships, you're having to match that on the women's side as well.

Was listening to Split Zone Duo, which, imo, is the best college football podcast it right now. It is highly informative and entertaining. They had a guest from 247 sports on in the latest episode who is guessing that, due to the NCAA giving everyone an extra year if eligibility, 500-750 fewer...

    Anymore
  5. Dasan McCullough (Ohio State decommit; Indiana signee)

Disappointing if true, but I can't blame him.
  6. DE Noah Potter (transfer to Cincinnati)

    1. Look at the tongue on that dog! 2. I'm not saying that's not a GSD, but I've never seen one that looks like that.
  7. DB recruiting failures as seen in 2020

I have to think the new NCAA transfer rules will provide opportunities to bridge the gap.
  8. WR Julian Fleming (transfer to Ped)

The next time Ryan Day is forthcoming with injury information will be the first time.
  9. 2023 OH DE Brenan Vernon (Notre Dame Verbal)

They also probably have parents who feed them!
  10. tOSU Recruiting Discussion

This argument is circular. All the elite players are going to the schools who go to the playoffs because they are the only ones in the playoffs. If the playoffs are expanded, the elite players will spread to more teams because there will be more than 6 teams regularly going to the playoffs.
  11. QB Quinn Ewers (transfer to Texas)

The same worries when your significant other and her single ex-boyfriend are still friends. Sure, you will reassure yourself, but it just feels safer when the ex has a love interest as well.
  12. 2021 CA LB Raesjon Davis (USC Verbal)

My thought is that the pandemic has changed the way people think, and maybe this is one of those ways.
  13. Denver Harris (DB LSU)

    Tom Lemming? He's still around?!
  14. LB Baron Browning (Arizona Cardinals)

Browning is going to be a terrifying OLB in someone's 3-4 scheme.
  15. 2021 CA LB Raesjon Davis (USC Verbal)

Whenever I listen to recruiting reporters interview recruits, I cringe. It always sounds like they're interviewing someone for the first time in their lives.
  16. William Johnson (DB ttun)

I guess I should've been more clear. For a kid whose dad played at TTUN, we have a good a shot as we could hope for with Coombs recruiting him to a position where we put player after player into the league.
  17. William Johnson (DB ttun)

Well, if Coombs can't get it done, I don't think Ohio State could've done much differently. Coombs is a great CB coach, he's great at recruiting, and he knows a thing or two about planting flags in that state up north. Ohio State really couldn't ask for a better day of circumstances.
  18. 2021 CA LB Raesjon Davis (USC Verbal)

That's all you can ask for is a chance
  19. Domani Jackson (CB Southern Cal, transfer to Alabama)

If he's not going to be a Buckeye, providing a little schadenfreude at TTUN's expense is an acceptable outcome.
  20. WR Caleb Burton (transfer to Auburn)

In recruiting, relationships win. If Hartline leaves, be nervous. If Hartline is here, be confident.
