probably wasn't just a phone call to cancel visit, if I had to to take a gander at what happened, I'd bet that Day was frank with him to see where his head was at and the kid was still undecided and Day just decided not to waist either sides time and wished the kid good luck going forward
Im not saying Alford is a bad coach in fact I love him teaching our backs and the relationship he has with them once they are here...but honestly who has he recruited, everyone gives Urban the credit for Zeke and Alford wasn't here yet i don't think. Weber was a tricky one, and Dobbins committed...
If true...The fact that Day is giving Hartline the responsibility may say something about his confidence in Alford, also it tells me that he is not as confident in the stable of rbs as once led to believe
Getting the feeling that all the insiders are being very careful with reporting on Gibbs on the account that they were burned by Bijon and the other kid earlier in the year, but I am beginning to believe that there is reason for optimism, lets hope im right...
Reminds me a lot of the kid that came out of UCLA 4-5 years ago plays foe Jacksonville now I believe but name escapes right now...anyway Simon reminds me of him athletically
Just being honest...in Days system can we just call it a slot from now on, KJ got maybe 3 carries all season there is nothing Hybrid about that.
Thats just the thing, I think he does need to move, I think it's about as clear as can be that his wide outs are his wide outs and his rb's are his...
I watched Paris and Curtis tape in high school, neither was as good with the ball in their hands coming out of the backfield as Gill. Gill's film shows a true running back with great hands...to me the other two were more athletes playing the position
Of all the decisions that the staff will have to make for next season outside of finding a db coach, I hope they really take a hard look at moving Gill back to Rb, he is the only guy on the roster with the potential to be better than Dobbins or at least get to that level as an all around...
