JT out in the #ichigan game again. Don't know if he is coming back, but I think we can all agree that this was another one of those frustrating Barrett games. I don't know how the greatest QB in Buckeye history can be so frustrating.
"Ongoing meniscus issues." I never imagined having your QB...
Well, I always wondered how they could get away with doing it without the refs calling an "intentional foul." Pretty obvious that end of game fouls are intentional. In college, an intentional foul does not have to be violent, as it does in the NBA, where flagrant fouls are called "intentional...
Team is so thin, they have to conserve energy to make it through the 40 minute games. Coach told them not to bother with a bunch of pointless cuts, apparently.
The schedule really screwed the Bucks (I mean, seriously, they are literally playing two games in one day by eastern time zone standards), but that's no excuse for HOW they are playing. They look similar to the last two years' teams, really. KBD really came out there to end the half, though...
Stanford only shooting 35% from threes this year is a source of hope for us. Not very likely that our west coast, just-been-beat-down lag results in another embarrassing performance. Again, I'm hoping they can string some good things together and just get the win. I really feel like going 2-1...
86-59, Bucks? It was 33-31 with some time left in the first, so you are talking 53-28 over the end of the game.
7 shots for KBD.
3-point shooting stays at 30%.
No Potter hurt us, but it really didn't matter.
Dakich, Andre Wesson, and Kyle Young might be unusable against good competition...
Any predictions?
I'm going to give the Bucks a 2-1 performance, losing a close one to the Zags before winning the last two. I feel like the Bucks should beat Stanford, Butler, Texas, and Portland State, could beat Gonzaga, and probably would not beat Florida or Duke.
The Bucks seem like they...
Well, the only hope here is that he skipped his senior season at ttun for a reason. In our four games, he's already played three times as many minutes per game as he did his last season up there. His paltry numbers have still been more encouraging here than what he put up there.
What I'm...
Michigan State will undoubtedly be top-10 with a few more games under their belts. Only 2-1 right now, so smaller sample size.
I don't know, maybe Dakich will be an adequate backup for us come B1G play. 5 assists and 1 turnover his last two games.
Maybe, but I'm with you in that a lineup of KBD, Tate, and Kaleb Wesson in the frontcourt is not one that any team really looks forward to facing. This is assuming the continued development of Kaleb and the ability to avoid foul trouble. I like it.
The computers put us about equal with Pedd State. Sagarin has us at 50, ahead of their 52. David Wilson has us tied in performance ranking. David Wilson's system actually ranks Purdue as the lone top-20 team from the B1G. KenPom is the one with the spread, ranking Ped at 40 to our 67...
Of the three QB's, Martell is probably the most prototypical of Urban QB's (Tebow, Braxton, and JT levels of running.) Burrow is strikingly similar to Alex Smith (though Alex Smith did have 284 rushes in two years at Utah!). Haskins is more along the lines of Troy Smith, with less leg ability...
How can he be such a clear Heisman favorite when he isn't even allowed to start this week, in the crunch time? I'm sure Oklahoma doesn't want to mess this up, though, so I'm sure he'll be in by the second series, if not a couple of plays into the first series.:bonk:
The interesting thing about the early shooting woes is that Coach Holt doesn't seem concerned about it. He has stated that the three point shooting will improve down the road, so I'm trusting he's seen good things in practice. Micah, obviously, can go out in practice and make well over 50% of...
