It was a pretty steep drop from LSU, to their next highest-quality win...
PS - wonder how many folks left the game, to join Bourbon St. I'm sure that's WAY more exciting.
I give OkieState more credit, though, as they played the game just a couple hours after finding out about the plane crash - these are mostly kids, remember, so it has an impact.
Any other time, no was ISU even hangs close...
Oh SHIT! ANOTHER FG!
Dang - missed it watching the segment on nuclear bombs... What will I ever do?!? Guess I'll need to stay up for the 2:30am re-broadcast...
Apparently not, at least the last two years - then I'd have to call in for manic depression!
:)
Whassup, 'Bet?
Besides, at least Jacory kept me on my toes every time he dropped back!
Damn - halftime is more interesting
"we've had 7 quarters of football, and had 8 field goals."
No shit - that's EXACLY what we're all referring to - two closed-ass-playbooks, playing-to-not-lose...
"Big Boy Football?" Sure - maybe referring to fatasses or egos, but not football-wise...
Why didn't they just save the country this f'ing pain, and just do "penalty kicks."
Start from the 25yd, moving back 2-3 yards per try, each team gets a try. Whoever successfully kicks the longest wins. Done. Pain over.
This is a fugging SNOOZEFEST.
...Back to "How the universe works" on...
BCS! BCS! BCS!
Dang - come on guys. Look at the improvement in quality of play in bowl games since the BCS took over.
Why, pre-BCS, we might NEVER have been privileged to see a bowl game scoring record by one team!
Wait.
What?
