One guy in the portal who IMO fits exactly the player OSU needs at power forward is Mikeal Brown-Jones. He is a 6-8 220 grad transfer from UNCG, averaged 19 and 7 this past season. Great shooter, strong and athletic. He has a long list of high major programs interested, for good reason.

FAU's star big man Vlad Goldin, who averaged 15 & 7 last season, is in the portal. Key piece to the Final Four run in '23. Dusty May does need a big man. Somehow I doubt he'll be the only FAU star in the portal.

This is gonna be the year of epic Final Four droughts ended (plus UConn). Alabama had never made it until 2024. Purdue hadn't made it since 1980 (last season before Gene Keady). NC State hadn't made it since the 80s when Jim Valvano coached them. And yet the drought for Tennessee continues.
