Honestly, and I hate to wade too deeply into these things, but, the Browns cap situation isn't all that bad. If he's out next year for the year and I would make sure that he is... doesn't really matter I guess, and then they release him post June 1 in 2026, they mostly are paying him on time...
I was actually thinking about the do over option at the time, given this other thing happened. That said I think they got the call as right as they could.
And also I should probably make a sticky announcement but I really really really didn't like the comments today:

I've never said anything about the body language, but this was a whole heck of more cohesive looking team today. Not saying they were finger pointing or quitting but there was a mildly concerning lack of esprit de corps maybe?
