Consider registering! Fewer and higher quality ads, no emails you don't want, access to all the forums, download game torrents, private messages, polls, Sportsbook, etc. Even if you just want to lurk, there are a lot of good reasons to register!
i suppose i could go to ocean beach and hope one of the bars on newport has the game on. but it would be nice to know of a place i could count on.
and for the third time in as many posts, i'll say i'm aware of moondoggies but don't want to go there because it is too crowded and you can't get...
thanks, redbenn and jo4h. unfortunately, the link points to moondoggies, which is a mob scene (like trying to watch the game at the varsity club) and the place in encinitas is about 20 miles north of town.

Apologies if this thread is in the wrong place, but it's about tOSU football so I think it's correct.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone in San Diego knows any good bars to go watch the games. You know, places that are open for those 9 a.m. kickoffs and that show...
here's hoping the msu game will be put up. i just moved from columbus to san diego and now it's hard to catch the games cuz the local abc affiliate shows ucla, etc. we've been going to bars to watch the bucks, but had family visiting today and couldn't do that, so i had to rely on text messages...
