This is true. UM will be using a 4-3 Under, which is somewhere between a 3-4 and 4-3. 1 gap, which is more of an attacking style defense, requires quicker/smaller defenders, instead of a two-gap, or read and react, type defense.

I certainly agree height could be a problem. However, if he can cover, and all accounts are that he's got excellent coverage skills, that's a major upgrade to the coverage of the Michigan secondary from the past few years. It's been flat out awful.

That's what I was thinking. I'm not sure what to think about him. Seems a step slow right now. He does play in the biggest division in Texas, in a very good conference, and was selected to the all-state team this past year. So, could have a good upside, but, again, a project.
