fairborn park hills vikings class of 77 brown and gold, crosstown rivals baker flyers light blue and gold; now fairborn skyhawks with i assume still the states ugliest unis brown and light blue :(
to further this thread a bit who do you root for in bowl games. i always find myself cheering for all the big ten teams to do well in the post-season, yes even michigan. i just think it makes the big ten in general and our buckeyes specifically look good if the majority of the big ten teams win...
i guess that about sums it up. i am actually rooting for BOTH notre dame and michigan right now. am i right in the head. maybe today's game has left me crazy but psu losing is vital to our big ten hopes and usc losing is just...... well just something we all want to see :) what do you think
our woeful offense
maybe it is not fair to compare what other teams have done against common opponents but here goes....points put up against penn st so far this year. south florida (13), cincinnati (24), northwestern (29), minnesota (14) OSU (10). except for central michigan EVERYBODY scored...
i found out the hard way that you may or may not get to listen to the bucks even if you do have xm/sirius. with that cut away to oklahoma/tcu debacle that abc/directv did i pulled out my xm radio expecting to be able to listen to the second half of the game. they only have 3 channels of big ten...
play calling !!! how about faking it into the line just once on short yardage and hitting sombody, anybody over the middle; how about screen passes, tight end over the middle, faking the quick pass to ginn and hitting somebody on the other side of the field etc etc etc. i also think that all the...
hamby cheer
anybody at the game can answer this, but a previous poster said that he thought the standing o for hamby's first catch sounded pretty patronizing but from watching it on tv i thought it was purely supportive and i actually felt good for the guy. which was it?
[quote=Jaxbuck;266329. We're now going to work on year 3 of having an offense ranked 90th or worse in all of college football. That's completely unnaceptable for a school with our talent.
I belive wholeheartedly in winning games with a stout defense and superior special teams but its ok to be...
this really burns me up too. there may have been times when a long pass was the play and receivers were covered but...both of these attempts vs UT should have lead to scores. what is wrong with going vertical on 3rd and nine. either we connect, we get an interference call, or least likely an...
to any texas posters
hope our grumbling doesnt sound like sour grapes but... i am sure from your point of view your defense stopped our offense after 3 big turnovers but from our point of view our woeful lack of executioin in the redzone after those turnovers cost us the game. if we convert on...
same here. i couldnt eat before the game and i have lost my appetite. i think i would rather have seen texas win comfortably then to see a half dozen sure td chances our defense gave us just plain wasted. there is no way we should of lost this game our defense played their hearts out and our...
ditto. i am wondering if smith did something during game to piss off jt or he was giving him an object lesson but whatever it was it didnt work. conservative bs and not being aggressive on offense cost us this game. texas didnt win we just beat ourselves plain and simple. dammit i am sorry but...
remember my post from long ago. late in the 4th and we are up by less than a touchdown. I would rather have us up by the 20 or so points we should be, that last fieldgoal attempt aside :)
whew exactly. i am in no way bashing tg but i think i have seen a few minor chinks in his armor tonight, that play and him arguing with smith on that short pass. i see him being a little bit frustrated tonight and i think it will make him a better player in the long run to experience a difficult...
