As a Vols fan who has seen his favorite basketball team go through this same situation, I agree with this. Just for the record, I do think Tennessee will be firing Pearl in the near future.
As for the Heisman part, I was basically implying I didn't say Tebow will for sure be a super start, but I think he will have a great career.

LSU's talent level the past 2 years was unbelievable. Les Miles isn't a great coach though. You have to be a good coach to win in the SEC, not just a good recruiter. Just ask Fulmer.

They turned on him because he wasn't winning championships. Although Tebow obviously COULD be a disappointment, it is definitely possible that he keeps them happy.
I will ignore the sarcasm at the end. They will get much better by the end of the year than at the beginning. I do think they can win the SEC next year, but if they don't, I would have to say Georgia or LSU.
