    usenet is just a suggestion. there isn't a server to maintain or anything. you post binary files to about any usenet server, such as one provided by your ISP, and it's then distributed to all the other usenet servers. usenet posting is more anonymous than torrents. i use both methods.

    most of the low end routers can't handle the large number of connections used in torrents so they tend to freeze. I went through a few routers before I set up an old pc as a router using freesco. now, i just leave everything full throttle.
