What protection plan do you have on your phone? And how does it let you switch phones?
I heard one random person talk about state farm insurance on the phone, but no others. He had 2 droid phones covered for like 36 bucks.
Have you played any/many side scrolling games that use touchscreen controls? Do they work well enough, or are they too slow to properly play a NES like title?
I've been holding out for about a year now. Have you seen anything that is an upgrade over the droid, or just comparable?
I want a droid with the touch pro 2 keyboard. That's my only hangup with getting your phone, if it has a physical keyboard, I'd like to be able to feel the difference between the keys.
I want a server to:
- backup files
- host media files (for streaming via 360, laptop for bedtime movies, music, etc)
Questions:
1. Can my old PC get the job done compared to buying a pricey NAS server? AMD Athlon64 2.2 GHZ, 512 MB PC3200.
2. Should I buy identical hard drives to work together? Or is there no real difference (besides listed read/write/buffer) in using different drives?
3. If I play an HD video file on my newish PC streaming from the networked old PC, the performance will be based on the new PC, right?
- If 3 was a complication based on LAN bandwidth or other performance concerns, I would very rarely have HD videos on my server, other than new shows via Torrent, which could be transferred to my PC.
Sorry, I can't recall if I asked this before... but if I call DTV and complain that fox has a digital chatter/stutter, might I get some kind of 'sorry perks' like movie channels for 3 months?

I'm still struggling with whether to wait for the iphone or jump on the dorid bandwagon. Gmail is my business/personal email, and I love google overall.
Am I foolish to hold out for another 3-9 months for a phone that may never come?
If you could choose one or the other on verizon's network, what would you choose?
