I respect that the Reds have a logical philosophy to their drafting. They draft pitchers and shortstops. But Greene has basically been a zero, Lowder and Lodolo are close to a zero, Burns is great, credit due there.

That's fair. There's exceptions. But if I am drawing up a defensive lineman I want him to be someone like Warren Sapp. This guy is a problem to deal with for their team and for our team. Offensive linemen, I want them to be guys who could also teach kindergarten

Love hearing the positive reports about him. I feel like the reporters/podcasters etc are generally pretty accurate if they are saying this guy looks like a player as a true freshman in camp---examples being Garrett Wilson, Dobbins and then Jeremiah to a whole other level

That to me is the whole problem. Coaching staff should have said middle of the second quarter "ok what we drew up isn't working b/c our line can't block them. We gotta do something else." And they didn't

Agree that is the best line on paper. Daniels seems like if you read between the lines hasn't had the best offseason and the coaches are trying to motivate him.

To me, the biggest criticism you can make about Day is his teams sometimes don't seem to have a plan B when plan A isn't working
