I don't understand why teams always insist they draft the best available player instead of for need. "We just trust and follow our board." Teams draft for need all the time, which they should.

Can't complain about taking Williams. Obvious position of need and seems like the kind of player where worst case he is a solid starter. He made a couple plays in the Peach Bowl as a freshman

Yuge addition. Obviously we needed some depth on the D line so adding him and Logan George was yuge. Not to mention there's a decent chance he's our best guy at the position next year too

100% agreed. Still not sure why it took until the playoffs to see the team that everyone knew was in there, but better late than never

One thing I'm worried about is blocking. Underrated part of Trey's game. A big part of the bomb to Smith against ND was Trey sticking his face in there against the blitz and holding up. Peoples is on the small side.

I do wonder if people are underestimating how good Trey & Q were last year. I think the O line will be as good if not better, receivers forget about it, tight end upgrade, I think Sayin can ultimately be as good as Howard but RB does worry me just a little bit.
