We should also remember the role of the offensive line. Sayin has lost something this year and I think, at least in part, it is due to breakdowns in protection.

I fell very much the same, bri. I left the game wondering in how much regard we might hold him if he had an average receiving corps. Missing wide open receivers in the end zone is not a recipe for success in parity games.
