I think it hangs largely on whether the coaches pull themselves together as a team and get the preparation right for the team. The offense feels very disjointed after Indiana.
Uptempo also affects the defense. Going uptempo lessens the time that the defense has to read your intent and adjust accordingly. Slowing the game down has its own advantages.
I think you need to do both, perhaps even in the same drive.

I respect a kid who has raw talent and stays home. On the other hand, I loathe a team that recruits young people and then does so little to develop them.
Very happy for him. I always liked this guy. Take a look at the Holmes-Rahe stress inventory and his weight...he is really at risk of a major health issue. I hope that he will focus on getting his personal health issues sorted out.
