I get that. My point is, I wouldn't blame the kid for chasing a bag.
Valid point though that it only is really a benefit if the system fits and he wants to be there.
He already lives in TN, so they at least have that. I guess.
If true, unless OSU matches that amount, he should totally take the bag and play for UT. They have a decent enough program to get him to the league if he is as good as advertised. Just keeping it real. That is a life changing amount of money.
However, over 3 years, I don't see how OSU can't...
I suspect they can somewhat keep up, but they choose not to go there. Day has been on the record that if it is just about the money, OSU is not for them. I think they stay competitive throughout the players career.
My mistake by making it too general. By pipeline, I meant there seems to be some in roads from Harding to TTUN. The Harding grads to OSU are legendary.
I do expect for him to go to Scum.
Just commit to Scum and get it over with. Lol!
Would love for him to be a Buckeye and probably should because of who he can be coached by, but in the end he is a TTUN legacy. He is going there.
Harding has that weird Scum pipeline. Pretty sure Alfie proudly puts his love of blue on social...
2026 will be a year of interest to me with Bowen. Recruiting is good, but the actual coaching is hugely debatable. Hope to see improvement in the offensive trenches next season.
